  • Small towns knew everyone and watched over each others children. It was safer. My parents were very careful, still I walked everywhere in my area of town, skating, riding bicycles, playing hide and seek at night in the streets. It was a wonderful and carefree with grownups who cared and watched over us. Elders, including teachers were obeyed. It was a totally different world. To have lost that is a tragedy.

  • @sgraceful yes you are right

  • They just don't make movies the way they used to. Am I right?

  • @ 10:14 "There ain't any Santa Clause"

    "Don't say ain't. say isn't."

  • Thank you UNivfoxx for posting this delightful movie "Bright Eyes (1934)". I watched all 8 parts. The movie was excellent. Shirley Temple was the most adorable and talented young actress of her era. I don't know any current little child star that matches her remarkable natural gifts. She was so beautiful and sweet. Watching a Shirley Temple movie always brighten my day. Shirley Temple gave immeasurable joy! The little girl who also co-starred in the movie was amazing.

  • Dude (or dudette), I love you for this!! Thanks a bunch for uploading this movie. Probably my favorite Shirley Temple movie.

  • i love how she wants to go the airport, if yhis were today she would avoid at all cost going to the airport today with overbookings, cost on carrying bags, and other nonsense

  • what a brat! lol

  • do you have this movie in color??

  • Well, she ain't no bundle of joy, the spoiled one.

  • thank you ssoo much!!

  • "There ain't any Santa Claus!"

    "Don't say ain't, darling, say isn't."

    "Ain't, ain't, ain't!"

  • What exactly do pilots mean when they say "Contact"?

  • HAAAAAA HAAAAAI love her machine gun sound :D

  • @amerikankainpoland that was what actually got her the part in this movie.

  • @kimpunkrock I know I watched her interview she can still do XD

  • Shes the most cutest little girl I have ever seen

  • i remember watching these as a kid. soooo good. i love her. (:

  • What an awful, awful child. Love the term 'psychoanalyst' as opposed to the later 'therapist' or 'psychologist'. Psychology was a new practice then. I can here Dr. Freud's words now... "Ma'am; the problem is your daughter suffers from Penis Envy."

  • i love Shirley Temple!!!!

  • at 1:41 she looks older than 4/5 :L xx

  • I may have been born in the 90's but i absolutely love and prefer black and white movies, so much more powerful and wonderful to watch!

  • OH MY GOD SHE'S SO LITTLE AND CUTE!!! How old is she in this???? omg i just wanna squeeze her she's so cute!!

  • @SillyPuttyRox101 I think she is 5 or 6 because she was born in April of 1928. The same month and year of my Grandma.

  • @Wolverineeeeeeee

    "oh my gooness"

wow , your gramma is old!....mine is too...lol

  • @SillyPuttyRox101 Yeah and I just downloaded the color version and saw that the dog looks exactly like my dog. I think my dog found out the secrets to time travel.

  • @Wolverineeeeeeee

    OMG!

lol....I think dogs are more technologically advance than us.

I mean , time travel! we dont even have self lacing shoes!

    lol

  • @SillyPuttyRox101 LOL! I know. I bet one day dogs will rule the world!

  • the lady actress those times simply naturally elegant and glowing, compare to nowadays too many fake stuffs on them.

  • what a perfect little demon.

  • i love shirelys movies but...my gosh....why would u let a child hitch hike onn the road???

  • @lillix33 maybe it was safer back then?

  • @bellekd1413 Yes. EVERYTHING was safer back then... Too bad we can't turn back the clock.

  • That dog is the same little critter that was Toto for MGM's production of Wizard of Oz isn't it?

  • @drummerlead Yes!

  • YES! The black and white version! I can't stand the colorization.

  • @MissGreenDay7 LOL! I'm the exact opposite. I hate the Black and White but I think that's because I was born in the 90's. And also you rarely ever see black and white on tv anymore.
