The New MCM Album has just dropped. The Gospel: The Missing Gems of MCM Caveman is out at digital stores. Check out youtube channel mcmcavemanonline for more details. This is the first album dropped by MCM since the Caveman days. Support Real Hip-Hop!
I was at Amersham college when Mark was there back in the late 88/89. I remember him always hooked up to headphones rhyming in the corridors. Top man.
Safe MCM, still bringing the heat - big up the High Wycombe Crew, and my boy C-Lone. My vote for next interview goes to the following 1. Cash Crew 2. Bionic 3. Dynametrix 4. Overlord X . 5. Krispy - Peace, Leroy
we were all a little guilty of having an American lilt to our rhymes back then, but it was as much a statement of affinity as anything else, one thing I will say tho is that for his age MCM was shoulder to shoulder with the best, and I agree you can't touch the golden era-why?- cos now its about blending in whereas back then it was about standing out
but 'whoatv' we've had cookie crew & fresh ski...two rappers from the early days of uk hip hop, then we've gone straight into the 90s, couldnt you have found any rappers that was around before this man...
(c'mon there was shit loads)
and saved this interview for a later stage???????
To be fair as I've outlined in the description the first five episodes cover legends selected by myself. My selection isnt based on any chronology but just on their availabilty to speak to our cameras.
There are many other groups and individuals I could speak to, but these are my personal favourites. It's my hope that fans and like yourself will put forward names you deem worthy to make up the next batch of five.

to britcorefan1, and 12originalplayers...i did try to get KAMANCHI SLY, for M.M. of WHOA TV. K-SLY wasn't compliant, though.
to M.M., i would suggest, that HUNTKILLBURY FINN would be a lot more compliant, if you wish to interview him.

@insanemacbeth as the next five is the peoples choice I'll enlist your help if Hunt Finn peaks peoples interest.

Kamanchi Sly or Huntkillbury Finn to get an insight into those ill rhyme patterns! Nice work.

Kamanchi Sly (if you can get him) If not Overlord X would be cool
