I thought the people in Fiji were worried about the fact that THEY don't have clean water and instead have lots of cases of typhoid and are worried about the sustainability of drinking water in Fiji especially with the amount that is taken out for those water bottles...not to mention while it does provide some jobs and have helped a few villages in general they are not a help at all. Comparable to the banana companies at the turn of the century in Central America.

Fiji water does NOT help Fiji you idiot, do you know how much taxes they paid recently less then $ 50.00 Fijian equiv to 28.00 US ????? First supply water to all in Fiji before trying to export it. Fijians are just being exploited. A small bottle of Fiji water costs 3.00 in USA more then what several Fijians make in a day!! Only people benefiting from this are landowners,politicians and Fiji water Company

I just spent a lot of time in fiji and toured the fiji water plant and additionally lived with locals who work for fiji water, so let me just say that you all think water bottle company=bad for the environment, greedy people. but this is not the case. go to fiji and you will understand. in the meantime remember that you don't know as much as you think
Fiji water is a greedy corporate using up the natural resources and paying pittance for it..oh sure they help in some community projects to cleanse their consciense of guilt but the truth is, they pay their workers pittance..compared to the huge profits they get, their laboures get paid around $3-$5 (fjd) an hour, which is like $1.50 - $2.50 (usd)...SHAME ON THEM!!
