  • @LiliBeth Really? Its kinda hard for me to cope things up at first, but i didn't lose hope for I know someday my fats will be gone.. My friend recommended me this diet program WeightLossAction.Info..? That's the diet site you are talking about right? She told me that its the best program here on the net..And she also got the body like a supermodel because of this diet program..

  • By bying your book do i lose weight? and what rice asians (koreans) eat mosetly? is it Sushi rice? and does it make any differens to eat sushi rice than brown rice? By the way i orderd your book!=)) its good to have someone like you! good luck

  • @Orkkisi : Asians eat all kinds of rice: Jasmine, Basmati, long grain & short grain (sushi rice). Brown rice is better for weight loss because it has more fiber. However sushi rice is also good because it has resistant starch due to the cooking & cooling process of rice. Rice will help you to lose weight because it is rich in water, resistant starch & it's a good carb. Best wishes, Linda Yo

  • Are asian naturally skinny?

  • @Orkkisi : Actually that's not true...Asian children who are eating like Americans are getting fatter & fatter... :(

  • So would I get fat even if I had take away Chinese in America?

  • @odd0odium : generally Chinese foods are low in fat, high in fiber and resistant starch which will help you to stay slim.

  • LOL, If you live in america, Asian or no Asian, youll become FAT like everybody else. Willaim hung is a best example. What makes people think the sterotype given to Americans "Fat" LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

  • Why is everyone trying to be skinny?

  • @RedQueen009 : I agree...the ones that continue to consume their traditional diet stay slim but the ones that follow western diet gain weight. We don't have skinny genes. If eat eat traditional food that are rich in fiber and resistant starches, we stay slim. Best, Linda Yo

  • @AsianSlimSecrets : I worked in an office with Chinese and Vietnamese colleagues and these people rarely ate Western food. I got to see what they ate. They brought their own food in for lunch. They all had healthy weights, none of them were fat so I had first hand experience with how healthy Asians eat. I'm only about 6 pounds over my ideal weight but I intend to buy your book anyway for the recipes and of course to achieve my ideal weight.

  • @auggiedoggy : Yes...the Asians who continue to eat their traditional food stay slim...and yes...get the book & if you really follow the directions....you will lose the 6 pounds in no time. Best wishes, Linda Yo

  • All asian people have a petite body, so they CANT get fat or huge .__.

  • I will definitely get your book and read it !

Are you working on any other new book at the moment ?

I hope you will write about Asian Skin Beauty Secrets !

  • @Booklivre : I'm working on an online seminar : "How to Lose 10 lbs every month w/out Starving." I will remember your input & work on it when I have the time. Thanks, great idea! :) Linda Yo

  • skinny is so unsexy.. you look like a bag of bones. Im skinny and i actually want to gain weight. Curves are hot skinny is not.

  • i thought this was a pearl cream commercial

  • Great video!

  • @aurianaserena : Thanks! God bless, Linda Yo

  • @aurianaserena

    1) Hold your breath.

    2) Copy all of these steps.

    3) Go to two other video.

    4) Paste it in the comments.

If you can do all of this without breathing you're a god

  • that's true asian food makes you skinny..actually in 2 months i starting eating my mom's asian food agian and making my own..yay i lost weight and got toned cuz i exercised too

  • @LostCali4niaAngel : Good for you!

  • how often do americans eat pizza? of course it depends on individuals. but doesn't it make you so fat? I don't think it's because americans are lazy. it's food that's crazy. I mean how can there possibly be food that has like 2000 calories for one meal?

my brother(asian) went to america and gained 20 lbs, we're like what the fack happened to you?

  • @jisaw80 : Most people gain weight because the foods are very dense in fat & calories. In Asia the food is rich in water, fiber and resistant starch, that's why most Asians are slim if they continue to eat their traditional food.

  • I think this is true I am african now leaving in asia, i was fat b4 but blv me 4 just last 3 month i lost some weight. It is in thr food actually..

  • @TheBashir85 : Asian food makes you slim because it is rich in fiber, resistant starch and water but it is low in calories so you stay full with less calories.

  • I have a question. Do I have to buy the food & ingredients from Asian Markets? Or can I get them at Ingles or any other grocery store? I know that Ingles has a lot of variety in their International products.

  • @mkm051607 : You can find most of the ingredients at a regular supermarket.

    Best wishes, Linda Yo

  • @mkm051607

rice is rice. It's the way it's prepared is completely different.

Americans pour butter all over there food, when cooking fried rice.

i tbsp of butter is 100 calories, a tbsp of oil is 125. French fries are deep fried in oil, and i cant just eat two french fries....

    understand?

Buy the book, learn how the skinny prepare their meals...

  • There's this girl in my class.

She's Asian, but born here, nd lives an American lifestyle, and she's fat.

And other Asian people born here aren't really skinny, just average american weight.

    So it's about lifestyle/

  • @communitychannel1fan

It depends upon the individual, their metabolism, exercise regimen, and own diet.

  • I agree, it's lifestyle not genes.

    Best,

    Linda Yo

  • Lots of tasty vegetables & broths :D

  • Wow... Thank you so much for sharing with the world! Never thought just eating originally could do so much. :)

  • You're welcome, graciagirl!

    :) Linda Yo

  • hey! I love Chciken Soup for the Soul!!!!!

  • You're right...things happen for a reason, when life give you lemons, make lemonade, right? :) You are wise, eventhough you're still very young. Try the recipes, study the book & send me the results, ok? And if you have any questions, pls do not hesitate to ask.

    Have a nice holiday,

    Linda Yo

  • american food has too much sugar.

  • @tkathryyn

Not if you make proper food choices. It's easy to retain a slender shape if you do.

  • Sounds Filipino

  • Yeah...it was a challenge. But with determination and hard work, we can overcome any challenge, right?

    Regards,

    Linda Yo

  • haha..yeah..i got here in america and i got fat..

  • Happens to everyone! But actually there is a simple solution on how to lose weight and stay slim!

    Regards,

    Linda Yo

  • Hey, this is a free country...some like it meaty, some like it skinny....that's fine. And by the way, I'm taken...been happily married for 17 years!

    :) Linda Yo

  • whats your opinion on high fructose cornsyrup? i believe thats the reason why america is so fat. i eat a lot of food compared to other people but iam still skinny, i think the reason for this is because i avoid HFC's.

  • Sorry for this late reply...somehow I didn't see this one. You are right; one of the reasons why Americans are fat is because we consume a large amount of high fructose cornsyrup which is a monosaccharide, the simplest form of sugar. There are several other reasons, but definitely this is one of them.

    Regards,

    Linda Yo

  • I prefer my women with more meat on them. Screw you anorexic bitches

  • there's a difference between anorexic and just being normal skinny asian..

  • People who want to challenge this plan. Those who say it does not work. Should try this plan for at least a month. The plan will work. Traditional food from asian counties is not oily. It's the Americanize form of asian , restaurant /takeout food which is high in fat.

  • Good idea!

    God bless,

    Linda Yo

  • why she is fake, she said she tried everhting to loose weight huh, well all she had to do was eat like she was eating in her home country and stop eating American food, i dont think she ever gained weight photo shop works wonders shes just trying to make money with her hustle. from a poor country to a rich country . mmmhmmm

  • I dont blame you to be skeptical. There are too many fad diets. However these are facts

I dont need to make up something like this, it happens to almost everyone who move to the US.

My parents fed me well & sent me to study in the US. Japan, Singapore, Taiwan are rich countries, yet the obesity rates are less than 10%.

Writing isn't an easy way to make money. You spend 20 yrs & get $1/book. The pay off are the testimonials such as the one given here by Frieda Barken of CA.

    LY

  • is true americans are mostly known as fat people

  • I do not eat a lot but I do ice cream a lot.The result is I'am big. So I'am going to try this method in about a week. When I eat oriential style food I have noticed that I do not gain weight.I rather maintain a good healthy weight. Thank you so much for this information may God bless you. When I start to lose the weight I will send you a picture of my before and after.

  • I'd love to see the pictures. You are welcome..check out my other videos and take action!

    God bless you too,

    Linda Yo

  • It's hard to explain on this short post but basically Asian foods are rich in resistant starch and other foods that increase your metabolism. Yes, there are some grease but they are a lot less calories than the saturated fat consumed in the regular Western diet.

Congratulations on your weight loss. If you stay with the habit, you will stay full and stay slim for life.

    Sincerely,

    Linda Yo

  • I always wondered myself o.o

When i went to china i ate all the time, and it was mostly greasy restaurant food, but i lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks

  • Good for you! :)Linda Yo

  • and you would think asian food are gross and oily and so...but who's skinnier??? most americans i know are so health conscious and are always dieting and exercising and i can never see any diffrence...they always envy me since i can eat a horse and can never gain a pound...i guess its our (asian)food! when i migrated to the US i gain so much cause my family would make me try american food alot...but when i got back to my mom's old fashion cooking i lost the weight! FOR REAL!!!

  • OMG this is so TRUE!! ok ok so i came from asia 115lbs then after 6 months i went up to 140lbs!! and my mom was the same way! american food is really REALLY make you gain weight! thats it! im getting a brand new rice cooker! HAHAHA

  • how long did it take for u to lose all these pounds ??

  • At the time, I had not learned about nutrition & weight management yet. However just by combining Asian food & American food, I lost the 25 lbs in about 3.5 months.

    Sincerely,

    Linda Yo

  • I would like my wife to see this. When I met her in Mexico, she was thin, but after getting married and moving to the US, she has gained a LOT of weight. She's 5' 3" and weighs 285 pounds now.

  • It happens to all of us :) Tell her to change her diet to her traditional diet and also to read my book. If she truly understand my teaching, she will slim down & stay slim without starving herself.

    Best wishes,

    Linda Yo

PS. It's wonderful that you still love her despite of her size now. God bless you!

  • She's gained about 150 pounds in nine years. Do you know how long it might take for her to lose that much under your plan?

  • If she is very motivated, she will lose 3-5 lbs/week. If she is not very motivated but continue to follow my directions, she can easily lose 2 lbs/week or 150 lbs in 18 months.

This method is simple & she will lose weight & stay slim without starving herself. Read, understand & APPLY the slimming habits described at Asian Slim Secrets & send me her "after" picture

    18 months later!

    Best wishes,

    Linda Yo

  • thank u soo much ....

so do u mean that if i eat alot of asian food it will come out ??!

    thank u again :D

  • Yes, especially the foods that contain resistant starches such as Basmati rice, sushi rice, etc.

    U 're welcome :)

  • i thought that asian peaple r thin because they drink alot of green tea ..

    doesn't that help ??

  • It helps because tea increases our metabolism. However, there are several other factors.

  • I am just the same as you!.. well like you I used to be so thin when i was younger (I am asian as well) and then low and behold the american diet and tv dinners and I gained so much more than 25 lbs.. finally I took the initiative to lose weight and lost around 10 lbs.. however I am not as thin as I still want to be yet...any tips? btw. I am 5'4'' and 117 lbs

  • I think you are at your ideal weight. However, if you want to lose more weight, eat more traditional food and do a little bit of weight training exercise because as we age we lose our muscle. Muscle consume a lot of calories, so losing them will make us easily gain weight.

  • Thanks, I run track (distance running) and we weight lift train (high school student) (sorry about not mentioning that earlier..) and any tips on becoming really skinny naturally without starving myself?

  • Eat foods that are rich in fiber and resistant starches and drink 2-4 cups of tea every day.

  • thanks!

  • You are absolutely amazing.. quick question.. does this mean If I eat out at a chinese restaurant and say for example have shrimp fried rice that this would be considered healthy.. or have asian restaurants adapted their cooking to the western lifestyle ? Sorry for the loaded question or are they still using all of the traditional methods although they are in the us now?

  • Shrimp fried rice is not bad. Shrimp is low in calories & fat (12 large shrimp = 90 calories, 1.5 g fat). And rice contains resistant starch which is an indigestible starch. And 70% of the volume of cooked rice is just water. When you eat food that are rich in water and resistant starch, you will feel full (stuffed) with less calories. Most restaurants use vegetable oil so at least it's better than animal fat. The restaurants that have many Asian customers usually serve traditional food.

  • Excellent reply.. you have helped me very much as shrimp fried rice happens to be one of my favorites.. I look forward to reading your book for more information.. Good luck :)

  • American Diets do contain alot of fat, but alot of protein. The key is getting the right types of carbs, healthy fats, nutrients from fruits and veggies, as well as protein to build muscle. Excerise is the key to weight loss, the more muscle you get, the more fat you burn!

  • I agree that if you have more muscle you burn more calories. Asian diet is healthier because it is rich in fiber, resistant starch, complex carbohydrate (good carbs), more filling and low in fat.

  • 1 serving of steamed rice contains anywhere from 0 - 1 gram fat.

  • I've also heard that drinking lots of natural, whole leaf green tea everyday can help boost fat burning. I've been drinking a lot of green tea lately and it helps me feel great. Is this another secret in the book?

  • They should do a reality show with extremely obese American people living in China for a year and see how much weight they lose.

  • Great idea! I just received an email from a gal who lost 25 lbs during her summer vacation in Asia while eating as much as she wants.

  • I'm not surprised. I'm still not sure about that because I've just started researching, but it is very possible that the quantity of calories does not matter as weight-management goes. It's the QUALITY of the calories that could matter most. Good calories; bad calories.

  • Great show idea :) Many people told me that they lost weight when they live in Asia, & most Asians gain weight when they move to the US!

  • You're really on something interesting. Maybe it's the diet of the future?

  • Thanks! Quite a few people told me that they lost weight either by following the directions in my book or by trying some of the recipes that I posted here.

  • Hey 200 calories isn't bad for a main meal, when you're trying to keep at least 1200-1800 calories a day.

  • Yes, Asian foods are filling. Large in volume but low in calories.

  • I think you just best explained in a few words what the best diets should be : *Large in volume but low in calories*. I'm going to look for the Top 20 foods in that category. Thanks.

  • If I may ask, I would like to know what is your daily average calories intake. And what do you usually have for breakfast?

  • how much does the book costs??:P

  • Hi Shazam:

Yes...I guess it's awkward, and if you are healthy, you feel sorry for them. Sometimes, we take our health for granted.

    Hi ErdbeerchenAditu,

Get the book and FOLLOW the EASY directions. You'll be amazed, how easy it is to slim down & stay slim while still able to enjoy food.

Recently,a lady just sent me her before & after picture, she lost 25 lbs after 4 months.

She bought her book in Feb.

  • I am proud you made this book. Women are only good if they are tight, slim, and fit.

The worst thing is when women that plan to live in the U.S. become fat whales. With your book, it may prevent that from happening.

Also Asian food, whether Thai, Japanese, Chinese, or even Indian is better than cancerous U.S. food.

  • Hey thanks! Yes, with a little modification in their diets, every one can be healthy & beautiful.

  • This video was great! I love Asian food and a I've wanted to loose some pounds for a longe time, so I just bought your book!

I'm already eager to cook some of the food that was shown *yum*.

  • i'm noty laughing at the diet idea. i actually am thinking anout purchacing the book. it makes alot of sense. its just awkward to be able to hear someone breathing in an elevator.

  • It happens. They should consult a doctor.

  • hahahaaha. when i rode teh elevator with them i could hear them breathing heavilly.

hahahahahahahahaha. i hear people breathing in the elevator too and its creepy.

  • Please don't laugh.

It could happen to anyone, even myself.

    I gained 25 lbs in 3 months!

If I didn't discover the Asian Slim Secrets method, I could be one of them too, because I love to eat!

  • hahaha

  • Babycee: I hope you like them :-)
