in this type of situation i would od my best to stay calm and try to help construct some type of escape plan, i am not sure how cold the water was or how fast things happened but i think i would take my chances with the ocean and try my best to swim far away from the ship as possible, at the time people probably didnt know how deep the ship would sink so i would nto have stayed on board and tried to hang on to the uplifted end, i dont know i just dont know

Schettino is so amazingly apathic that I am thinking this is traumatic shock, not criminal neglect.
