The Fightin' Texas Aggie band is by far the best in the XII..much less the nation. Any arguement is pure idiocy. t.u. should take a course to learn how to perform from them Fightin' Ags...would probably do em some good. Nevertheless, I'll put t.u. 2nd as far as college bands. They are talented.
Texas A&M is a very good, traditional school and the Aggie band probably could be very good if they'd get away from that silly military style marching and retire the Military music and join the 21st century. A little military would be ok, but be diverse and devote some time to non military stuff.

As far as that aggie guy, man I go to a BIG 10 school and nobody knows anything about your school outside texas, whereas the Longhorns are known by everybody, and alot of haters but that's expected. Isee Tx shirts here in Michigan, and in Illinois where I'm from & their band is PIMP with their sounds and their hats and their reputation.

Just as your mascot is "BEVO" which mind you, is really a made up name to disguise a brand made on your mascot by A&M students after they beat you in football " 13- 0 " (Fill in the blanks, " 13 E V0"), our mascot is a Tiger, and go is spelt "GEAUX" as part of our universities tradition.
um actually no...the rest of the big 12 thinks you guys are boring....and when people from the other bands (like myself, from the texas tech band) hear you guys play, most of us think, "wow they sound like crap"...
i'll give them this...they can march a perfect square better than anyone else, but other than that...the aggie band sucks...
i would much rather hear UT's band and their catchy fight song than a&m's band...
