What's dangerous about jumping with no hands? It's hardly going to make the horse fall, hands shouldnt affect the horse's jump at all, in some cases its actually better to jump no hands cause there's no rise of pulling the horse in the mouth.

Personally, I think riding without reigns is sooo much comfier!!! I don't know why...

but riding with no stirrups is DEATH. Just kidding, but I hate it! :p

i do this, i once did it bareback on the headcollar, but only a little jump cause my ponies 13 hands. ive done it over a combination at about 2'3 the first time :)

Doing this is really good for you and your horse.

It's prevents your horse from leaning on the bit and pulling you out of your two point and also prevents you pulling on your horses mouth. I do this as much as i can. My horse is a little bugger for leaning on the bit =D

hee hee, I have done this a few times...you really have to MAKE yourself bring those hands up (cuz your instinct tells you 'HELL NO!'). It's really freaky the first few times, but once you realize your balance you get the hang of it...of course I wouldn't do it on a horse i didn't completely trust, haha. Yours is a gem!
