I saw this movie in 1983 as a double feature with Risky Business. Risky Business was first then this.  I was 13 and loved the music. I saw the double feature more than once and each time Doc made his first screen appearance people would yell "Guido The Killer Pimp!"

Love this movie, and soundtrack. This song was replaced on the CD with the song Mockingbird. Never knew why, but when I went to buy it for my sister I had to hunt down a used CD so that it had this song on it.

I was there the night they filmed this scene in May of '82 at Tony Marts. I was 11 years old. They filmed this scene over a dozen times. They would change the camera position and film it again. They used a Nagra reel to reel to playback the music through the speakers behind them. It was so loud, it actually seemed like they were playing.

I sat at the unused bar near the pinball machines. I fell asleep with my head on the bar listening to this song played over and over. I will never forget it.

What I really love about this movie is that it was filmed in the Tony Mart in Somers Point, NJ. When I was young, a couple of my baby sitters would take me with them to the Tony Mart when my folks were out for the evening. The Tony Mart was where I learned about rock & roll when I was about 9.

Awesome Movie!! The songs by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band for both 1 and 2 are amazing.. This is my favorite song from the first movie, and running through the Fire is my favorite from the second film. And I didn't understand until d heard it a few times how Beautiful a song it really was, but then i was only a kid!
