96" with 80 HP. And it's not horsepower, it's torque that's the real concern. These are cruisers, not racers. And besides, anyone that knows engines knows that horsepower is a calculation of torque. By the way, I blew away a Nissan 350Z with my Dyna and it's "low horsepower engine".
"I own a Harley, therefore I am a bad ass because a Harley is a bad ass bike. That movie I watched last night proved that!." than it is to go out and actually prove that we are bad ass. It doesn't matter that you're overweight, ugly, live in a trailer park, on your third marriage, and just lost your job at the cigarette packing plant. Hey, you're bad because you own a Harley. It doesn't matter if your bike is made up of parts from six or ten other Harleys, you are one tough bad ass
@VictorysMadeInMexico that badass biker may be on a 3rd marriage, might not have a job, might be over weight from an Iraq disability, might not blend in with the crowd. But he has his bike and his freedom, carrying only what he can fit on his bike. The "image" most carry isnt one of "im tough". its to keep others away. some just want to be left alone. He doesnt care if hes ugly or not kissing ass at the country club. He served his country and just wants his freedom. think about it
That bike is now cheap. It's a cryin' shame that they've slandered the "wide Glide" name like that. Having invested thousands more in an earlier Wide Glide i feel betrayed with this "cheapened" model coming out for far less. Oh well, screw it. Let's ride!
@Dale82855 Hey Man, Help me out. I'm looking at purchasing a new Harley Davidson. And, particularly the Dyna Wide Glide. So, DO u mean its cheap as in price? Or do u mean its cheap in production? Hit me back man. cheers from New Orleans!
@jeremiah20092009 MSRP on a 2010 wide glide is 14,500. MSRP on a 2006 wide glide was 16,600. The price got cheaper, but the new bike isn't crap. I personally like the new one over the old. Now you get a low slung 96 cubic inch twin cam A motor that has more style for less money. Dale is just saying that now he is thinkin' of trading in : P. One thing though, the new one is a lowered bike. Some like them lowered, but i don't like cornering a low bike. All in all the new bike is hot sh...
@VictorysMadeInMexico i believe your lost....cause harleys no longer have carbs...and wiring? umm...i think all motorcycles have copper coated with plastic? Either way...they make hondas here in the states...just like harley gets parts from overseas. Welcome to the 21st century. In this future land, we have these things called corporations, and they can't make everything in house. Yet they still make fancy vehicles we can drive around without horses.
