Say I run a right wing sunday red top tabloid and my staff are found out to have hacked and tapped phones and email accounts... How do I tell the all that there's a change and they're all fired and ruined my already crap reputation? Love and Hugs, Rupert.
My manager at work blatantly uses the fact that I have appeared in adult films as a stick to beat me.
I asked for a well-deserved pay-rise the last month & she casually dismissed me saying “Perhaps you think working here is like your scene on YouPorn, where you ask for a raise but end up screwing that fake-breasted boss-woman on the desk! Please keep your sexual fantasies to yourself!”
I am not ashamed of my past- I was good at the job I did. If this continues, I’m going to tribunal.
@SuperTruth77 In UK law: Sounds like a clear cut case of Sex discrim to me. I looks like your 'boss' is intimidated by your past. Keep all email/letters/witnessed incidents on paper and let her know in writing that you think her behaviour is unreasonable and must stop now. You may need to go through your company's greivance procedure (but do this and you must accept that your days in the job are literally numbered). They may prob pay you off of 2 weeks before Tribunal case is due to start.
Isn’t that sweet? Tonight at midnight your true love will realize they like you. Something good will happen to you at 1:00-4:00 pm tomorrow, it could be anywhere on IM or email, outside of school, anywhere! Get ready for the biggest shock of your life. If you break this chain letter you will be cursed with 10 relationship problems for the next ten years. If you post this to 15 pages in 15 minutes, you’re safe
Sounds great in theory but what if your team just sees the problem (negativity) in everything and refuses to cooperate? Time for a culture change? New team?
I like it. Points well made - the four mechanisms your state at the end nail perfectly how to handle change management. Thanks for making it straightforward and relevant!
"Change management" is just a scheme to impose the will of management on employees with minimal backlash and protest. Nowhere is the issue of fairness, justice or exploitation ever discussed. The term "change" is the propaganda vocabulary used by the corporate elite to disguise the nature of what they are really doing, namely... everything they can to leverage as much power and money for themselves at your expense. You are an insects to them... they could care less if you live or die.
change is always going to happen; this way you ensure that the manangement are getting the basics right, and yes it is from the management's perspective...but when you get it right, everybody benefits, there may be casualties in enforced change, but businesses have to change to remain competitive...
