  • Oh good grief; that's Ike's voice - put through a processor. It was the 1960s, you know - people were trying weird things. It wasn't all manufactured and tin-canned like it is today... But I agree, Ike's voice without modulation is fantastic...

    (Yes, I know he beat her. Separate his personal life from his career with Tina and, heck yeah, this duo had a lot to do with moving the industry forward. Even with his desire to be Alvin...)

  • It is a great song... her vocals rock... the way Ike changed the ikettes voices kinda ruin the song a little for me.... but he kind of did that to many songs, trying to create a new sound that never worked..... but like I said, great song and Tina sounds great in this era of Ike and Tina.
