Thank you ! Yes, I did write it myself. I wrote it one hour after my grandmother funeral for my Mother. My Mother passed last year and I was ask to play it at her funeral. Very hard to do but it went alright. ""Mama Ought to see me now "" was written Jan 10th 1986, just after my grandmothers funeral , One O'clock in the afternoon in McDonald's Restaurant on a brown paper bag in Corning, Arkansas.
