  • The neck was my favorite, fat and juicy. The bridge was good too, but I guess I am too old fashion. I prefer the look of poles on the pickups. I sold both, and now have Chris Klein's Esquire in the bridge, and Early 50's in the neck because I wanted a more traditional tone, and it turned out to be a great combo!

  • tell me about these APC brad paisley pickups.... looking to buy some. you dig them?

  • real great bro, i enjoyed it!

  • It is an Eminence "Red, White, and Blues", perfect speaker for this amp. I have gigged with it, and it is a fairly clean sounding speaker, but will breakup/compress slightly when driven. Just a great all around versatile speaker.

  • What speaker are you runnin' in the amp? Do you gig with it? If so...is it loud and cleanish at stage volumes?

  • Wow!!!

    Very nice sound!

    Great job and sweet feeling!

    Keep on the blues!

  • Sounds nice. Love those lovepedals! Which Ronnie Earl CD/Song is that?

  • Thanks, the CD is "I feel like goin on", and the song is called, "blues for the homeless".

  • how do you like your your Brown Sugar? I am building an Allen Accomplice at the moment...

  • The Allen Brown Sugar is a great amp, it makes all my guitars sound good. It is cathode biased and will run different power tubes. I prefer the 6L6's with the GZ34 rectifier tube. This amp has the Eminence Red, White, and Blues speaker. Great bluesy fat, singing tone, very versatile. Let me know when you get the Accomplice done and what you think, thanks!

  • WOW yr good!!!!!

maby turn down the backing track a bit if your gonna make annother vid.

i have a tele highway one as well, how'd ya get this type of sounds out of it?? i'v been trying for months!!

  • Hey thanks!! Your right, I need to do more direct video so you can see and hear what I am doing. I am glad you could pick out my playing over Ronnie's, he's great!

  • Right on Curt, not bad for a harelip! Seriously though great playing.. next time at least smile for the camera.. :>)

  • what is a Brad Paisley pickup? who makes them and where do you get them? i play on the neck pickup exclusively and would like to learn more about this pickup, thanks for any info.

btw, you sound great, and so does Ronnie!

  • Outstanding, great playing Curt! Can't go wrong with Ronnie Earl. We've got to get you a cooler looking pillow, maybe a swede thing with Elvis embroideried on it, or dogs playing poker! Man, that is the second best amp I've ever heard! ;)
