I was recently robbed and shot in my head. The gunman pointed the gun straight at my face. I diverted the gun pretty easily from my face when I felt that he was about to shoot. What got me stuck with metal in my brain? I turned around for a quick second to make sure my pregnant wife wasn't getting assaulted by the other two jerks accompanying the shooter. By the time I turned back around, I was lying on the street bleeding. (Just in case you're wondering, both my wife and I had a baaaad feeling)

Thats the dumbest thing I've ever seen, if someone holds a gun to your head your method of stopping them is to push it away? Crafty! The best way if someone, for some reason has a gun at your forehead is to drop your legs out from under yourself and fall to the ground and then kick em or punch em in the groin, then flee. As soon as you move your arm they will be aware and shoot you. This is more likely to get you shot cause you spooked someone who wasn't going to shoot you in the first place.
Dropping down takes much more time to get oriented if your going to strike, you have to drop, get your head right, moved your arms into position, and strike. He has to...Move the gun down 5 inches and pull a trigger.

After you deflect the gun guess what... he will gain control of the gun again and this time make sure he gets the job done and fire multiple shots... when before he probably would have just fired one and then you could just play dead for a bit...

You need to get out of the danger circle, stun the gunman by attacking him with a punch to the face or throat or a knee to the stomach or nuts, and then control the gun by grabbing the slide and twisting it outside so he breaks his finger, then twist it back and remove the gun. Step back and point it at him and ask for your stuff back and an extra $20 for your time =]

Well after you stun them you go for the gun with both your arms, but you should stun them first to make things easier for you. Watch the Krav Maga gun disarm video by expertvillage.
On a different note, I keep laughing at how in this video they deflect the gun then stand there smiling at each other. I'd like to see that in a real situation. XD

I was recently robbed and shot in my head. The gunman pointed the gun straight at my face. I diverted the gun pretty easily from my face when I felt that he was about to shoot. What got me stuck with metal in my brain? I turned around for a quick second to make sure my pregnant wife wasn't getting assaulted by the other two jerks accompanying the shooter. By the time I turned back around, I was lying on the street bleeding. (Just in case you're wondering, both my wife and I had a baaaad feeling)

He says to the front of your head, pointing at it is different, I think he means that you would be stupid to stand real close to someone when robbing the person, since that person maight have a chance of attacking you right back. If you're a couple of feet away, you will have the chance to shoot before the person reaches you to attack you, therefoe he won't attack you at all (unless that person is a complete moron or knows how to fight extremely well).

Thats the dumbest thing I've ever seen, if someone holds a gun to your head your method of stopping them is to push it away? Crafty! The best way if someone, for some reason has a gun at your forehead is to drop your legs out from under yourself and fall to the ground and then kick em or punch em in the groin, then flee. As soon as you move your arm they will be aware and shoot you. This is more likely to get you shot cause you spooked someone who wasn't going to shoot you in the first place.
