@cozener1 Elton was not more of a hissy fit merchant rather than a 70's boover boy it was the opposite actually. NEVER SAY ANYTHING MEAN CUZ I KNOW A FRIEND WHO'S THE VICE PRESIDENT OF NIGEL OLSSON'S FAN CLUB AND SHE'LL TELL ON YOU TO NIGEL WHO WILL THEN TELL ON ELTON!!!!!!! and you don't want that do you?
c'est la meilleure version de ce morceau! un feu d'artifice de talent , fabuleux keith! la locomotive de john ! les riffs saignants de pete et la présence de Roger ....long live rock!
oh yea ps id like to stick a brella up that bitches ass, and poke that he/she in the face with a poker a red hot one, music now is wnough to make ya wanna slit ur wrists
does rock exist anymore i thought it was all lined up on shelves on my wall they are called albums, aka vinyl. do people still rock? was just wondering i thought they just wanted their umbrellaaaaa brella brella brella in their fuckin poker face, kids rock wow news to me
Elton did his own version of Pinball Wizard, so turnabout is fair. I will have to listen to this version a few more times to see if I can get into it. It lacks the earthy beat of Elton's version, it seems.
@muzicsalesman Amen! So getting back to the music: I'm unfamiliar with this Who album. It doesn't sound like Moonie to me on drums. Do you know who drummed on this?
@spercoco the album is Two Rooms: Celebrating the Songs of Elton John & Bernie Taupin. Im not sure who plays drums on it. Zac Starky (ringo stars son) toured with Daltry that year. so maybe it was him.
@michigangirl1994 What?!? You like Nickelback's version better than this one? Although this does not have Keith Moon's badass drums, it still has Entwistle's bass, Pete's guitars and Roger's voice which does well justice for just being a cover. In fact, more than a cover this is a tribute.
@michigangirl1994 But still you had to put The Who over Nickelcrap, please....! Oh well, I guess everybody's got different taste on music, but I'm glad to see you my contemporaries listening to good music.

It's a great cover, I think. The Who is definitely one of my favorite bands. I do have a bit of a biased opinion towards it, though. I mean since Elton's was the original and all, so by default I think I like his a bit better. Also, that and Elton's was the first version I've heard, so... yeah.
@cmoretti04 omg stfu. here are discussions about the best version (The Who vs. Elton John). And I'm just get a new word (band) in the discussion. You don't have to attack me with such words. Its just my opinion. Come down man -.-
@cmoretti04 lol, probably some dumb fucking kid who has no idea what music is and just goes with whatever's "cool" and trendy at the time. Nickelback can't sing for shit.
This version is great. Though I am of the opinion that nothing's better that the orginial, espicially since I'm an Elton John fan But this version is absoultely great.
this could have easily been a Who tune first!

I like how they snuck in "Take Me To The Pilot" into it - Elton John snuck "I Can't Explain" into his version of "Pinball Wizard" back in 1975.
