  • They pull triples in Kansas and Oklahoma also.

  • There is absolutely no reason UPS should have been in the middle lane. And yes, I do drive for UPS and pull triples quite often across the Indiana Toll Road.

  • UPS Gonna get some1 Killed one day

  • @MrThatguy122 Well what would you suggest ,That I pass him in the middle lane idiot, I was passing him on the right guess you don't know what your left hands doing.seeing as it's about a $300.00 dollar ticket to pass him in the left lane ,what do you suggest Einstein.

  • @trikmitruk. Obviously, you have not pulled triples before. You are probably another hired government worker getting paid to film other drivers.

  • I have my hazmat and doubles/triples, just got them cause you never can have too many endorsements. I would hate to pull them though, I'm an in town LTL kinda guy!

  • I pull triples..& i hate when this happens. Typically it's because of a poorly greased congear...or an impoperly loaded trailer.

  • @bigjbzzl How would you load it to make it not wiggle? Put more weight on the axels? it looks pretty challeneging when you have so many short trailers.

  • @ThisMakesMeThink --Yeah---its better to load evenly over the axels---but of course you may not always be afforded that comfort. But its more about the lubrication of the congear. Of course tire inflation can be an issue. I've been at speeds I won't admit to here(coming off a hill)---and the 3 trailers just tuck right in behind each other, regardless of weight & positioning, & no wiggle, so long as the congear is properly greased.

  • The wiggle wagon sure does wiggle.

  • UPS trucks are the best for drafting to save gas.

  • @bigkev1115 and on the FL Turnpike

  • Tripples in high wind, no thanks! he should have parked it when the wind picked up!

  • This is caused six inches or more play in the steering wheel from a worn out steering box and/or wornout linkage , I know I drove a set of doubles with a tractor that had steering problems one time.

  • empty 3rd trailer?

  • @BeantownJim --I pull triples....sometimes empty, no wiggle. If I have 3 trailers 1-21k/ 2-19k/ 3-empty....so long as the congear is properly greased, there shouldn't be a problem. Tires and steering should be in order(like any vehicle)---But wiggle is nerve racking.

  • WIGGLE WIGGLE Giggle Giggle NOT amateur wiggle wagon driver

  • Triples are very safe, just that there are 2 rules to driving triples: one don't over correct...EVER, two, don't look in your mirrors. because of the length and the shortness of the wheelbases it is inevitable that you will sway whether loaded or empty, but never more than 1.5 feet side to side unless of some external circumstance.

  • Let me guess... Was it really windy? And the guy was hauling empties?

  • Seems to me they wiggle because the drawbars are too short, the trailers are too short, not enough weight on them, not enough axles, in short not a safe combo.

We run triples and quads where I live on some crap roads with no probs, but I guess you guys are restricted to length.

  • Fuck that.. tripples would suck.

  • he or she is holding there lane and doing fine.....if you wanna pass make it quick

give em a brake they are working not on a joy ride

  • You couldn't pay me enough to drive triples.

  • @theevilmeister not even TRIPLE your salary? LOL

  • @theevilmeister Even if you made over a 100,000.00 a year.because that's what Ups feeder drivers make.

  • i remember tryin to pass one of these UPS Triples while drivin thru a tight construction zone on the Ohio Turnpike 50 miles from Toledo a few years ago. The driver kept telling me over the CB to go ahead and pass but i was too dam scared. Stayed behind him for 10 miles before tucking my nuts in and passing him. He laughed at me of course. It was fascinating watching the last trailer move around like that.

  • God, I hate unloading those things...

  • @lololmao7 at least they got rid of the drop frame trailers.

  • @freeridemtb2 ...not at my hub :(

  • @lololmao7 Damn we haven't had drop frames for 2 years or so. Now the only crappy thing left is the fact that our extendo conveyors don't reach the end of the big 53' trailers

  • @freeridemtb2 lol same at our hub. Fortunately we've only been getting 12 to 14 loads a day for the past week. But Peak season is coming soon :(

  • I saw a semi pulling a full sized crane it was sick!!! 3 flatbeds long and 2 wide coolest thing ever!! (before u saw its not possible they were not to flatbeds side by side they were just so large they took up 2 lanes)

  • 3 pups, holy shit

  • DOT

  • LOL reminds me of a UPS wiggler i saw on I 80 in Pennsylvania

it was just swinging and swinging and swinging those tires must wear quickly

  • thats gotta be a bitch to control when they start doing that..

  • i can't even imagine driving this in the rain or even snow!

  • In Texas, triples are illegal

  • i drive for ups freight in indiana.....doubles is enough for me

  • The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is thinking about putting longer heaver trucks on U.S. roads. It's looks like that might not be safe.

  • Holly crap, tripples should be illegal.

  • @Phoenixkidd without weight they do that. but ive seen double 53s on the ohio turnpike

  • Wow..look at that truck swerving all over the road...Gee, lets get beside him..

If you even reach up to scratch your nose it will cause the kite to move...it is not like driving a pickup...or even a semi. White knuckler is what we would call this...

  • gotta be a little nirve wreacking if you were the driver watching the 3rd trailor swaying like that ...like if you were new at triples

  • gatta love the a-trains, most i've ever seen is 2 tho, accept one time there was a farm truck pulling 3 empty trailers at about 60 ona 90kmh road, i was perfectly content with following because the trailers "wiggled" so much i wasnt keen on introducing them to the side of my truck,

  • In northern Indiana you see triples on the Indiana turnpike all the time.

  • why don'y you guys go out and drive and leave him alone

  • Gotta love triples!

  • oh my god, I almost saw a genetic recombination of a ups trailer and a catepillar. haha. well if it would have ended badly for those three trailers there would be a lot of disappointed people wondering where their boxes were

  • Thats not very smart riding on his right side while filming also! Maybe you should just pass him on the left and move on??

  • well #1 I would'nt have to pass him on the right,if he was in the right lane,#2 it's illegal for a semi to be in the left lane on a3 lane road,or 2 left lanes,in the state of Utah.Next my cruise was set at 65,Ups sped up,so it was'nt like I was'nt passing him,#3 my camera is mounted to the windshield so it's not like I was holding it in my hand,#4 so why are you trying to make it look like I was doing something wrong.cuz so far you hav'nt got anything right

  • Riding in the far right lane in someones blind spot is just bad driving.I have over a million mile safe driving pulling pups and i would not ride next to someone like that.Either slow down and let him pass or speed up and move on!

  • @trikmitruk Looks like the right lane to me...

Hate driving on the I-15 now..... damn UDOT >:(

  • @scrawnylonjohn NO KIDDING!!!! Spanish Fork to Lehi is awful.

  • @trikmitruk you make 4 good points. and not to mention in most states there is no law prohibiting passing on the right.

  • The only place you ll see triples are on the IN Toll Rd, OH turnpike, and spasely populated western states like UT, WY, NV, ID, and MT. In some other places you will see a Rocky Mountain Double with a 45ft and a 28 ft trailer. From this video, he looks like he s SB I-15 in Utah

  • Down by Lehi

  • @bigkev1115 also chicago

  • @bigkev1115 sure it's a two year old comment but i have seen triples in K.C. Kansas on 435

  • yeah I used to help put those together- as you see by my video posting

  • nice video. i live i RI hardly any 2 trailers around never seen 3

  • thanks man, lots of triples out in the western states

  • I've never seen it and I work for UPS!! I asked the drivers if they'd ever done it but they said it's illegal to do. But this is California IDK what things are allowed in other states.

  • I know Utah,Idaho, wyoming.allow it and a few others ,thanks bro.

  • I haven't seen many down south here pulling 3. It scares me when they're just pulling two. I make it a point to not drive behind them or beside them no more than I have to. I get out of the danger zone as quickly and safely as possible. The farther in my rearview, the better. My respect to the drivers with the nad's to pull em =)

  • Maybe you should explain the danger zone to trikmytruk.

  • also let me explain,i'm not bagging on ups,or anyone else,I'm just saying, there are a lot of drivers with the I don't care how much I'm screwing up traffic.how many people I'm holding up,I'm the only one that matters,I.m staying in this lane come hell or highwater.then speeding up and not allowing the person to pass.

  • @cobraman96 Its simple. NO ZONE, Stay out of the NO ZONE

  • haha urcite to islo na slovensko kde som to vykladal :(:(:((: :D:D:D:D:D

  • it just make me smile...

you know the little dogs with their bouncing head?

These one you put in your car at the back, under the backwindow?

But it looks quite dangerous to mee!

  • lol,the trick is to load the front trailers heavier.if you load the back trailer heavier,it really jumps around.

  • i never see ups or other here in texas hauling 3 wagon's

everybody its scared or worried when they only haul 2!!!!!!!!! jajaja!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

nice one t video here to

  • Pulled doubles never pulled trips, used to jerk the wheel just to scare the hell outta people

  • i have to agree with the other guy about being a brave soul.but he only had about 5 hrs.exp.you know ups.hang in their guy and give drivers like that a big space.......

  • yeah they don't scare me just drive straight makes them straighten up.

  • shakin' up the shorties!

    woop woop!

  • helll yeahh

  • Your a brave soul passing that mess!

  • Thanks cpd,It took all the nerve I could muster,

  • Interesting video here! Like the end effects!

  • thanks,bro.

  • your allowed to run three on the interstate, not through town.and only in some states i drive in new york and we can only pull doubles.

  • i dont think its legal 2 tow 3 of them at a time...how the hell r u supposed 2 turn corners?

  • Mike it's called tracking each trailer will pretty much follow in the track of the one in front of it.

  • no they dont...they pivot. thats y tractor trailers have a warning that they cut corners.

  • well if you know it all why you asking me

  • it takes pure skill and nerves of steal to be haulin 3 trailers at once..some people dont realize how hard that really is..

  • Yeah i am sure! I actually think it looks like fun! :-).

  • they get three times the fun, I'm not sure but I Think soome companies do pay more for more trailers.

  • do drivers that pull three trailers get 3 times the money?

  • i work at UPS as a semi truck driver aka FEEDER driver. down here in the keys its right at 30.00 bucks a hour. but we cant tow triples down here.

  • its fun to watch people freak out when they wiggle

  • lol i kno im down here in the florida keys. going over bridges they start wiggling. with the right speed of wind.
