You know, it's interesting. The opening music is essentially the devil's triad playing over and over again. Somewhere, there was probably some Christian who recognized the devil's triad after seeing the evolution sequence and then pointed at this show and said Satan! Kind of funny, really.

My question is HOW did it come to use the Forbidden Zone theme? Was it driven by the request of someone who had seen that great movie, or was it simply Elfman's choice?

For those interested, the Dilbert theme is a redo of the theme music from the 1982 comedy-musical film "Forbidden Zone," performed by Oingo Boingo. It's available on Youtue--the music, anyway. I highly recommend the movie, by the way...

Never watched this show until I bought it on DVD 11 years later. I watched Dilbert earlier today and it's a very amazing show and loved it. Dilbert is one of the best UPN shows of the late 90s next to WWF SmackDown! Dilbert rules.
