Just finished a delicious hot cup of java.

  • @starcamand4 WELL DONE! Now flush the toilet and open the window. I'm proud of you. Crap often......

  • @starcamand4 No, he wasn't you utter idiot. He was a lunatic, a hateful ignoramus that made himself wealthy off of naive idiots like you. He was a disgrace to human, period. End of lesson. You're welcome.

  • @djwithnoname

look listen i am not taking this from people he was my pastor he isnt in hell he was a amazing father to lynchburg va and liberty is one amazing college town he has been someone ive looked up to for years hes one amazing guy and if u knew him ud think differently about him hes a pastor and a freind i really loved

  • If ever a fucker deserved to have his funeral picketed it's Jerry Falwell. Unfortunatly he will not be burning in Hell, but never mind, he won't be in heaven either

  • By the way: where does all this "Dr. Falwell" crap come from? His doctorates were honorary, and do not earn the recipient the right to be addressed as "Dr." , at least in legitimate academia. For the record, the only degree he earned was a bachelor's from a then-unaccredited Bible college. He never even attended a seminary, much less earn a graduate degree. Even in death, the man's a fraud.

  • If you gave falwell and enema he could be buried in a matchbox -Hitch

  • Is it proper to rejoice over a person's death? Absolutely, if the world is a better place because of his passing. Falwell was a vile man, who peddled fear and lies under the guise of christianity. A Tartuffe passing the plate for hate. I was always curious about his obsession over homosexuality. It seemed he never passed up an opportunity to discuss it. The straight men I know, who are truly comfortable with their sexuality, don't obsess over gays the way Falwell did.

  • Jerry was a great man of God, yes he was outspoken at times, but he stood up for what he believed and God blessed him for it! Look at the legacy he left behind, and how many people he has effectived! he had made a huge impact on my life, and he finished the race and heard the words well done good and faithful servant, God is the only one to judge, let him do that.

  • "Well guess what Religious Right! I'm Jewish! And you've got me praying!" - Lewis Black.

  • What does it mean to be a man of God? It's like saying you're a man of OZ. God won't judge Falwell. He will simply rot like the piece of shit he's always been. Sorry you've had your life stultified by this fraud.

  • It amazes me that the gay community expects people of religion to change their views on homosexuality(which is a sin) or be called bigots.I am not a religious person, and i will never except this perverted lifestyle and will fight to the death standing up for what i believe.

  • Heterosexist bigot. Yep.

  • Homosexuals have provided an indispensable contribution to the arts, culture, scientific innovation... As a societal group, we have the right to peacefully exist. If you want your lifestyle and others' lifestyles to be determined by a religious theocracy, then move to Iran.

  • The irony is that the WBC nutjobs supposedly based their extreme anti-gay rhetoric on Falwell's preaching...besides, those idiots show up @ any funeral that'll get them media attention (Mr. Rogers, Bill Clinton's mom, deceased Iraq vets, etc.).

  • Yes he is dead. sad for his friends and family and I feel for them on that part I wish them the best, but a celebration for all of us sane intelligent people that fat bastard had it coming so he croaked.

  • The bastard is dead!!!! The world is a better place....

  • Yay! fat bastard is dead! I will leave a donut on his grave in his memory LOL

  • This fool who says September 11th happened because of others including pagans and homosexuals.

Some christian he was, nothing but pure hate and ignorance.

  • well one down, now we just have to wait out Pat Robertson and Fred Phelps.

  • Ditto.

  • Phelps especially

  • where is jerry falwell go after his died..why he was afraid to meet the president of mormon church in salt lake city..

  • I can't wait to find out where they bury this guy. I think gay men and women and those living with HIV should make a pilgrimage to Falwell's grave with a video camera and boombox, tape themselves kissing and dancing in front of his grave, then post the video on YouTube. Petty? Perhaps, but oh, so very gratifying.

  • yeh, jerry fatwell is gone!!!!!!!!!!!

i wonder what his family and "supporters" are thinking now.....

"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"

  • fuck falwell, that stupid piece of shit.

  • He can no longer inflict his ignorance and cruelty on our world! We no longer have to hear his uneducated mouth spew nonsense and hurt imbued words. He, and many like him within his generation, are one by one being expunged from the planet, welcoming a more progressive tone to our ecumenical understanding. I for one, couldn't be happier.

Let reason and science, not faith, reign!

  • Way to put it in complete and sensible context! You Rock!!

  • this is great....everybody is glad this douche bag is dead

  • Where I dont agree with celebrating the death of human being, I must this is a good thing. People like Falwell prove that any vile, hateful and disparaging rhetoric can be justified and accepted as long as it hides behind the shroud of religion. There is nothing more dangerous than a man with a catch phrase and convoluted beliefs to impose on weak and impressionable people who generally cannot form a moral opinion with help.

  • Beautifully put, hinginator.

  • Everyone makes mistakes, including Falwell, but his works on this earth are much more important than any controversial comments he made. It is not for us to judge who makes it to heaven and who makes it to hell, but I feel confident that Falwell is in a better place today. As the Bible says, let those who are without sin throw the first stone. I'm not without sin, Falwell was not without sin, and none of you are either. Falwell was forgiven for his sins.

  • fortunately, the bible is full nothing but ink and paper. i'm glad this guy is dead. maybe that will help science move forward to benefit real stuff...like humans. If i had to pick between jerry falwell and saddam hussein to be brought back to life, i would pick saddam, because he did less damage to america. truth.

  • bump.

  • Well then, everything you just said Falwell violated. He announced who made it to hell and heaven, he accused others of sinful behavior, why defend him? You have no idea if he was forgiven. You have no idea if good was in his heart. All we know for sure is that he was a hatemonger. For his sake, I hope he asked for forgiveness before he died. My hunch is that he didn't.

  • Am-buh-lance.

  • the gates of hell were waiting for this cocksucker

  • Jerry Falwell may be dead, but hate and bigotry will live on.

  • Ding dong, the witch is dead

  • Wonderful news, indeed, but the Fox News presentation of such news is as "fair and balanced" (bah) as ever, I see.

  • The world just got a little brighter.
