Hell yeah this video was filmed at a forrest preserve in the chicago suburbs. I asked the director, Kevin Kerslake, where it was filmed exactly but he doesnt remember. He only remembers the preserve having a native american name. My best guess is it was shot at the really big forrest in like Orland Park/ Willow Springs. Still kind of cool to know that my favorite bands music video was shot by my house.....cool man.

@victoriaindigo It's an actual orchestra. DM tried to escape their "synth pop" label in Songs of Faith and Devotion. Dave wanted a more grunge sound to fit the new pop music in the mid 90s. Martin also added this to help try to escape this label
