at 0:35 the (white) car in the middle did accelerate without any delay - was that dan wheldon ? this car drove full speed into the other cars. or is it the car downside @ 0:39 which drove full speed into the other car, left wheels over the line ? both cars didn't react ...

It sucks that he died but isn't this the kind of thing most people jokingly say they watch racing for? The crashes? I never understood it, myself. It's just going around and around in a really fast and dangerous car. When you're going that fast and in those tight of turns you're going to have this happen. It's not a matter of if but when.

@codethis i know this isn't what we've been talking about, but your anti "RIP" rant is equally comical. personally i believe any associated spiritual meaning is nonsense, however the term is merely a social convention, a turn of phrase. very few people mean it literally. yes it's illogical, but it's simply what you say to encompass sentiments of well being to their loved ones, and sorrow of the loss. it's just an efficient use of language, most normal folk understand what people mean by "RIP".
