I got a 76' CJ7, SOA, 5.0L, Locked, 35's, I blow all the other makes to shit. Jeeps rule. I bet a ford, Toyota, or any other make besides Jeep wouldn't have a chnce on that. I ran my CJ7 up there with MT/Rs 1st try.
my buddy explorer got stuck in about 2 inchs of mud it was a 98 or 99 after i pulled him out we kept going just to break off his muffler and one of his rear shock mounts.. junk fell apart o and i was driving my then stock xj 2001
8 pounds of air??>! are you fucking crazy?! your beads will blow out it doesnt matter what lockers you have. unless your tires are foam filled or tubed than you better take 4 extra spares with 40 pounds each. trust me i work for a tire company

I would rather have a jeep because 1 They get SOMEWHAT good MPG and 2 Are just as, if not better than a Hummer. The first one too. See the problem with hummers is they make the driver feeling like nothing can stop him.
Hummer!?!? I hope you are at least talking about the original...and not the H2. The ONLY reason the H2 even has 4WD is to make the driver feel like he has a bigger...well, you know. I have pulled H2's out of a jam several times in my XJ. You know what they say...off-roading is 70% driver and 30% vehicle.

Jeeps have shorter wheelbases and that makes a HUGE difference on all the slick rock at Moab. I'd still take a Jeep over a Hummer anyday.
