With this new layout ALL the related videos on the right are Riksy videos - thats heavenly- but its target specific marketing & the flipside is the likehood is Stevies videos won't appear so often when people watch unrelated videos.
Discovery WAS half the fun of YouTube. And now its about control. The only answer is to join the spotty kids and make every video a response to Shane Dawson and Fred. Except that doesn't work either. ..lol
The reason why I think Stevie wouldn't suit BGT is that most of the acts we see each year (few rare examples i.e. Susan Boyle and Diversity) are forgotten within a year. I wouldn't want him to end up like that. I'd want Stevie to have his own programme showing off his talent to the nation who really do need a bit of culture compared to the crap they watch these days!
@brabon1 He doesn't need to go on a shit talent show to gain approval. He's built up quite a following online. When he was on that Celebrity Impressionists show (the only good one there btw), Stevie did so many modern celebs who he said in an interview don't have much character like they used to. The viewers won't be interested in his Freddy Mercury. They'll want Russell Brand cos the attention span of today's TV viewer is so slim it could be considered a Victoria Beckham clone.
@brabon1 I'm not doubting that he could. He's a real variety act. SInger, Musician, Comedian and Impressionist all in one. If you did your research, you would know that Stevie appeared on New Faces (The British Star Search you might say) and was the highest scoring contestant ever on that show. About the money? He does perform a one man show across NW England. If was low on money, why would he be posting clips for us to view for free on Youtube?
Riksys done all the hard graft and has built up a cult following on the internet. I reckon BGT needs him more than he needs it. If Simon Cowell wants something other than the showboat singers the dances and novelty acts - wheres the follow up? Theres record deals but theres never any TV series deals. Stevies done all the hard work- to get as good as he is. Hes done and won TV talent shows and deserves his OWN TV SERIES.
@sTeVie4TV Agree'd. we're thinking about our selves.
Much as people like Stevie should be shown on such show's and he'd blitz them, I've seen some of the contractual agreemets you have to sign for them, and you're a mug if you do!
great job Stevie i remember when i bought the best of bowie last year and first heard this song i didn't think to much of it but the more i kept listening to it over the past year in my car the more i liked it. for some reason when i hear this one i think of drive in saturday
Stevie, all you need is those wonderful BVs on the chorus for this and it would be even better - if that's at all possible.
