2.42, there's a face to wake up too. haha the 80s was a great time to run a hairspray factory. oh if only i could have seen it :( can i borrow marty mcfly's delorian, nevermind that just give me marty mcfly haha
Van Halen fucking started and began to kill hair metal with the 1984 album. Bands like Warrant shouldn't blame themselves for being popular following the music that inspired them and made them huge ROCK STARS! Bret said it the best. Poison was a PARTY BAND, and they wrote the BOOK about being a fun rock band!
There should be a sub-genre of rock music called "Bitch Rock" and Bon Jovi should be at the top of the list. If every song is written to and about a woman, that is not rock, that is not metal. Just ask Dee Snyder and anybody else who knows and understands music. FUCK BITCH ASS BON JOVI AND HIS QUEST TO APPEAL TO THE FEMALE AUDIENCE!
Dee Snider is (sort of) correct. When 'Slippery When Wet' went supernova, the record labels fell over themselves to repeat the formula - a rock band with pop melodies, led by a good-looking lead singer who was willing to pose for teen magazines. Sure enough the likes of Warrant, Winger, Slaughter, Nelson and Trixter arrived on the scene. These acts were viewed more as boybands than rock bands. And as The Laws Of Boybands state, after three or four years, those teen fans will grow up and move on.
haha i dont know why but i love the way david lee roth says pizza ahhhh jon bon jovi dee snider 's got that right...Nirvana what a sad excuse for music. everything was going fine till they came along. personally id rather look at a guy in spandex and big hair then greasy hair singing bout depressing garbage
