Lookoutbitch, I bought the car off of craigslist, and I also spend a bunch of time scouting the area for barn finds and field cars. This car was not in my plans to own and restore but once I saw it, I knew I had to save it. After $10,000 in parts and 2 years I still have $10,000 to go and at a minimum of 1 year to go. But part of that is the mods I'm doing to it.
@HaggerDagger i havent added any new videos in a long time, but the car is now painted and to date i have about $6,500-$7000 in the car. i have replaced the front clip only because i wanted to, i added a fiberglass trunk lid and ive gotten it painted, floors replaced, new brakes, etc.
@brandons72vette ..... whyd you send it to a shop, could of saved you a bit to spend on go fast parts. just saying. and floor pans and brakes arent hard to do your self....
@dusto1002, I did the brakes, i upgraded to power disc in the front and i rebuilt the rear drums but I'm thinking that with a 428/tremec tko 600 i ought to do 4 wheel disc brakes. and i took it there to start the floors and i too worked on it with others. after the car left the shop it sat in my driveway for a year doing bodywork taking it down to metal and it was a mess after all it was a drag car. I've replaced the front clip, have news magnum 500's, Shelby trunk lid
@dusto1002, I plan to do a Dakota digital dash, vintage air( yes my car is an ac car), snake oyl oem seat belts, tinted windows, i have a custom trunk upholstery, led sequential taillights, etc. I've done a bunch and have a lot more of custom things to do to the car including xm sat. radio, 12 disc cd changer, usb, mp3, custom sound system but it will be discreet, etc. anyways this car will be one really nice mustang. ill be trying to add more videos and updates soon.
