It is sad that evolutionary biologist are practically forced to spend a large sum of their career fending off constant attacks of religious nonsense. So in response to this nonsense, Richard Dawkins puts his foot down and provides rational thinking people who have for so long been just absolutely sick of religion with what quite literally show's us everything that is wrong with the world today and why religion should be wiped from existence as the ultimate enemy of humanity.
If there was no God, there would be no soul, no afterlife, no real love, hate, good, evil or crime itself because all these have no scientific meanings. Morality would be no more than an illusion of opinion and self-awareness and consciousness as an individual with freewill without a soul would be no more than biological chemical delusions. Science can discover what we are but never inform us of who we are. Are we made in God's image or evolution's freak of nature?
Whatever people think of his personality ot presentation what he says and puts forward is probably the ONLY way to tackle the onslaught of extremism and fundamentalsim......pity the argument isnt presented in a more 'popularist' way.....
I've actually changed my opinion on him now. Prob cos I've listened more to the creationists now and have realised why Dawkin is so pissed off all the time. They really are pretty annoying.
