This scene is like saying your the only one left... everyone has gone and left you and you are alone fighting against the elements... some people just can't live a life like this. They like to feel safe and loved.. they need stability. Superman just gets out there on his own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I luv this scene, I like how he just flies over them all and sees a world that doesnt seem to need him anymore, like every1s moved on. Thats how I feel sumtimes in life lol, I do really luv the bit wen hes floating in space too, thats so epic and cool! Its a really great Image of Superman.

If you can be lucky enough to hav found something or somebody Important in ur life, then that is good. Many people go through relationships and all the challenges of life, and eventually reach the age where if it all ended they say forget it and give up. But if you're still young and hav messed things up in life, then what else is there?? You Just hav to carry on alone.

This movie was dedicated to Reeves. This movie was a grave stone for all who enjoyed Reeves it was a work of art. I am glad they did not go forward with this movie for a sequel. Reboot was best. Superman Returns is 1 of a kind. That is why you can not do anything more with this EPIC work of art.

@MrMaDelirious Peeps didnt like it bc it was very cerebral with the whole saviour myth. I think out of all the movies, it depicted Superman the best. Brandon Routh was awesome too. Just the scene when he is in space, watching over the Earth is amazing, worth more than many movies themselves. But they will probably make him more human, darker in the reboot to get the Batman money. They will probably change the whole superman ethos.

@spaniardmale77 I am a Street Artist slash Comedian slash Athlete. This movie was made around the time Reeves died. Emotions were high back then for some of the fans. I found it a cinematic work of art that needed a reboot because it was only accepted by those who found it inspiring. Myth? Myth can also be inspirational. If not then masterpieces like Lord Of The Rings or The Neverending Story, Atheists and Religious people alike can enjoy. Put aside MYTH and find the possibilities through art.

@spaniardmale77 I am religious and have been a huge fan of George Carlin for years, RIP. Carlin was not about just Atheism. He was an Atheist but has been good friends with Bill Cosby for years and Cosby is a Christian. Carlin did not care what people believed, he was just thinking neutral and not favoring Atheism. Carlin never stated he hated ALL Religious people. I saw Carlin in concert Eugene Oregon in 1997. He was a great guy and inspiration to me a Religious person, even today.

They don't need a reboot. They needed to either leave the franchise alone after this fitting homage to the GOOD earlier movies or continue on this route with Brandon in the suit. He filled Chris' boots very well.
