You do know that it was Karen Berger (and to a larger extent Dick Giordano and Archie Goodwin) who brougt such amazing talents like Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman and Grant Morrison to the funny books? Of course, it was the creative writing of the latter three that turned the books they were working on into "proper literature", but you definitely do need a good eye for talent to get these writers on those books. It's sad to see how easily the work of a great editor gets overlooked.
