Paul would stop the wasteful subsidies and tax breaks for ethanol producers and oil companies and never allow federal gov't to to do those things again. not to mention, war for oil. Then you can start your own wind/solar. Democrats will never do that, no matter how much they talk. They are one and the same with Republicans. You need to distinguish between party affiliation and philosophy of government/principles. Research the philosophy of liberty and of 19th century classical liberalism.

No of course not. He is pointing out that almost all of the delegates do not want to vote for mccain and he was their third, fourth, or fifth choice but they are going along like sheep and will vote mccain even though he disgusts them, just like the did in many state conventions.

i dig ron paul. he will take votes away from mccain. we need balance here if the republicans are going to fund ralph nader for another spoiler run. if it were between ron paul and mccain, ron paul would have my vote in a heartbeat. ron paul is a courageous public servant who is honest and sincere. but just like dennis kucinich, who also opposed the war from the beginning, ron paul was black-balled from the venue of public discourse. it's a freakin' shame, but we can't let mccain/palin in there!!
