I love the way he greets to Almighty Allah. But I would like to mention that urdu is a language of Pakistan not india. However, they do speak urdu but their language is hindi not urdu, and brother Sami Yosuf says lets sing hindustan and sang in urdu language. no harm just wanted to clear it.

salam, im a bengali from india so admit i might not know much about hindi/urdu difference even though i can speak hindi well enough, we (especially in kolkata) refer to hindustanis as people who speak either hindi or urdu as a first language, maybe thats what he meant by it, also urdu is seen as the language of muslim hindustanis in both india and pakistan, peace amar pakistani bhai :)

I have been reading some comments regarding music is haram. .Well i just wana share something. Haram is that thing which leads u towards bad activities and away from the word of Allah. Even if ur doing a good thing or sleeping at the time of namaz than that sleep is haram for u.. what i mean is even halal thing can become haram for u .

So when u listening to something that brings u closer to Allah and our prophet, what can be better than that...

May Allah (SWT) guide us all towards learning more about the Fiqh of our deen. Only flutes are said to be haram due to a Hadith by the Prophet (SAW). But one should realize that not all instruments are haram. The Ansars were playing drums and singing Nashid when the Prophet entered Medina after the Hijrah from Mecca.
