  • Duran must have just refused to learn how to speak English.

  • Billy Schwer in the studio, World class lightweight of 1990"s!

  • I Love Boxing and Muhammad Ali is My all time Greatest,Sugar Ray Robinson 2nd,3rd Roberto Duran........

  • eres un gran hombre roberto....

  • jeeze ricky hatton and that other guy sure are ugly cunts

  • @toby099 you're mom is an ugly cunt. she should have aborted you!

  • Its very good to see these old warriors Ken Buchanan & Roberto Duran embrace in brotherly love , Buchanan was a good champion , but Duran was a great champion , an all time great at that

  • You'd never guess Michael Gomez is a fighter...

  • @GilbertSyndrome people here make an exaggeration comment that duran would put pacquiao in the coffin... =). whether its true or not that is something that they cannot prove. but i can prove that duran can't win big fights on his boxing career. i checked his boxing records. he lost against tough fighter of his time. his win against ray leonard is not a 1 sided fight either its a very very close fight. pacquiao didnt just beat his opponent he was killing them.

  • @babyfaceassassin21 Your a totally CRAZY! No big fights? What about David Moore , Iran Barkley, Bukhanan, De Jesús, Leonard 1, Iran Barkley (Best fight of 1989), Pipino Cuevas, Carlos Palomino, Ernesto Marcel...Hagler (what a fight for Duran)

  • @alkolicho or maybe you should say dejesus, leonard, benitez.,laing, hagler, hearns, sims, lawlor, pazienza, camacho, castro, joppy and gonzales would kill pacquiao. LOL

  • @alkolicho durans only accomplishment in boxing is he beat sugar ray leonard in a close decision. LOL. i will not be shocked if the kids today will say to their kids that ricky hatton is one the best boxer of all time becoz only mayweather and pacquiao beats him. and they will going to argue that mayweather and pacquiao will beat any boxer of that time. maybe 2030???? LOL.

  • @babyfaceassassin21

Duran went from the bottom all the way to the top and faught some of the best boxers in the history of the game, you saying that his only accomplishment in boxing was beating Sugar Ray only proves what a moron you really are.

  • @babyfaceassassin21 durans only accomplishment in boxing is he beat sugar ray leonard in a close decision? ARE YOU CRAZY? HIS Lightweight record Before going UP 12 Pounds to beat the best welterweight in the last 40 years was 73-1 and 56 KO.

He won the jr middleweight beating David Moore a much bigger man, and to put the icing on the cake of his career he won the Middleweight Champ at AGE 38!To Iran Barkley who beat tommy hearns twice!! Duran is known as one of the 5 BEST P4P boxers of AL TIME!

  • He is not Mexican. He is Panaman. from small country in Central America.

  • @Super6fan duran would put pacquiao in a coffin??? hearns killed him like he is nothing. Duran is an overrated boxer of all time

  • @babyfaceassassin21 Hearns, hagler and benitez would kill pacquiao too.

  • @babyfaceassassin21 duran was old what u do read his record u muppet fuck off and comment on wrestling

  • Comment removed

  • @babyfaceassassin21 errr so a fighter over 30 above his best weight loses to maybe the hardest hitting WW of all time and that makes him a bad fighter? ok...

  • Panama Mexican

  • Hatton was a good fighter, Duran was a great fighter! Duran had the boxing skills and the aggresion, Hatton lacked the skills to be great!

  • @TheLaughingBadger Hatton was well over weight there and that was not just from too much good food - he could have gone on alot further if he wasnt a stubborn northerner who boxed with his head way up and went on the piss with the lads inbetween fights

  • from Panama to the world!

  • best latino fighter ever!

  • @jampop77 Best Mexican boxer ever.

  • @HairyTarantula1 julio cesar chavez

  • @jampop77 Chavez was great, but Duran was out of this world.

  • @HairyTarantula1 i agree

  • Buchanan was a warrior.

  • Ricky Hatton might have lost to Pacquiao and Mayweather but this man definitely have more heart than the punk Mayweather! He is brave despite losing to the top two fighters of the division. I really want to see him back in the ring!

  • @gomezaparicio1627 Puro Mexicano.

  • After he'd fought Hearns, Hagler, Leonard, DeJesus, Benitez, Palomino et al, Duran was asked who impressed him the most. Instantly, without hesitation, he spat "Buchanan." Legendary hardman who once knocked out a horse and on another occasion smashed his fist into a concrete wall (he was uninjured). As a wild 13 year old tearaway in his hometown he used to draw a large circle in the dirt and challenge anyone, man woman or child to step into it. As Leonard found, harder to hit than appeared.

  • a lightweight who fought with all the great middleweight, Hearns, Hagler, Leonard, etc.. Honestly the best Latino history. Viva Buckanan and Duran, the best lightweight fight in history

  • pause it at 1.10 holy shit its hatton with a suntan.

  • Duran is the greatest!

  • duran fought from 1968 to 2001 show some respect!! mother fuckin LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!! WAR DURAN!!

  • no fighter in history pesonafied what macho is ,this is the real PFP greatest fighter in history ,too bad he did not fight in a time of the internet otherwise he would be bigger than he is , today we have nothing but frauds in the ring ,getting ridiculous paychecks and statues for acomplishing nothing , the 70 s and80s was boxings best era

  • When duran was fighting @ lightweight he was pound for pound the best fighter on the planet full stop , and Buchanan was standing toe to toe for 13 rounds with him before the low blow ( foul ) that ended it - fantastic

  • @nobbytang Not sure he was #1 P4P until he beat Leonard you could make a great argument Larry Holmes was the #1 P4P at that time(the late 70s)

  • @jamecpa10 now what is gay is lil wanye kissing birdman in the mouth now that shit is gay!!!!!

  • These bums who insult Duran aren't worth the shit on his shoes. He will always be a true legend.

  • if u insult Duran, ur an idiot.

  • When I was a kid, I'd argue that Duran was the greatest lightweight, and older people debated that Benny Leonard was, and declared that I was too young and didnt know what I was talking about.

Today, other champions have come and gone and Benny Leonard slides a bit further down the ranking...............and Duran is STILL Number One.

Believe it or not, he's also one of history's greatest welterweights, despite that he didnt fight there for long.

  • ricky was a great guy and could have been a great champion, he just didn't have the heart or determination, what shame.

  • hatton didn't listen to duran about not using drugs....

  • i like ricky hatton he comes to fight, but i think buchannon would chop him to pieces or connect with his glass jaw to end it early.

  • hola roberto soy el coreografo peruano hector reyes como estas querido amigo nmmos vimos por ultima vez en lima canal 5 de tv en el ano 2ooo

  • ive just read a book on holiday....the four kings....if your a big fight fan then read it

  • @paddy415 is itt about boxing or street fights nd were can buy it

  • Shut up Ricky u prick.

  • Duran p4p top 5 all time and he fought in 5 different decades, that is unbelievable. He was throwing down in the 60's.70's,80's,90's,00's jjaaaa lets see Manny Pacman or Mayweather try that feat.

  • Duran was fucking awesome!

  • Duran is by far one of the greatest of all time... a little dirty at times but still amazing, plus he kicked SRL's ass

on a side note i heard he got his name Hands of Stone because he KO'd a horse once, which an agent saw and said he should be a fighter...dont know if its true but still pretty cool!

  • Love the fact Duran didnt even bother to get out of his seat for that bullshit artist Hatton...ricky loves to think of himself as a down to earth northerner and 'man of the people...its all bollocks, he is money hungry selfish scumbag, hence the fact he got half of manchester to drag themselves all the way to las vegas twice and both times ended up unconscious in the ring..an utter embarrasment and wasted everyones time and money.

  • @maxlogica haha personally i have nothing against Hatton but by the looks of it Duran didn't even register who he was other than another fan who was being a bit touchy. Puts things into perspective. Duran cannot be compared to Hatton he is alot better.

  • @InvertedbraiN1 Hatton isnt fit to even polish Duran's boots....

  • @maxlogica yeah that's the point I'm making in case you misunderstand me. Duran is BETTER than Hatton. That's what I'm saying.

  • @InvertedbraiN1 Not just better....in a different league.

  • WTF why are they even mentioned in the same sentence? That is a disgrace to boxing.

  • @maxlogica wow you know your stuff and ain't afraid to speak the unpleasant truth. However I think the wankers who followed him to Vegas are at least as big a scumbags. They were an utter embarrassment to the UK with their moronic singing. At least Hatton tried his best, as inadequate as it was.

  • class these are two top fighters and hattons such a nice guy to

  • @chunkyscotty Funny how the truly great polarize so many. How can anyone not see or know how great he was. I think SRL is one of the greatest, Hearns, Hagler, Benitez, One guy who was in troubled and in trouble, they - none of them would fight was Tony Ayala Jr. El Torito. Even the Journeymen were bad ass in those days. Frank Fletcher, Juan Roldan, it was a golden era of boxing. Just my opinion but I was in my 20's and saw them fight in real time not highlights.

  • Thats why Pacquiao has that beard image coz he idolizes Duran so much ,one of the legends of all time ,

  • @amugani i agree he looks a bit like him but he can't fight like him

  • too bad hatton! u didnt accomplish even half of the quarter u were talking about.and u guys are not similar at all.he fights the best fighters in his prime u fought nobodys, sure u fought the two p4p fighters but clearly, u are not in the big boys league...im afraid nxt time u fight manny u will probably never get up

  • @pnang231 as i've said before, Duran is one of the greatest fighters who ever lived, Hatton is one of the greatest light-welterweights out of manchester in recent years.

  • There is no doubting Durans greatness, but I never will understand why he was awarded the Buchanan fight on such an obvious foul

  • roberto duran is great discover the pong it

  • Roberto Duran meets a Legend

  • @superfan6

I'm with you on the top four 100%!!!!!

  • is it worth getting roberto durans autograph??

  • @goldyn12345 if u need to askt that then u dont deserve his autograph

  • i was just testing lol he is known as being one of the best boxers ever

  • Ken Buchanan, a truly great fighter and gentleman.

  • very sentimental

  • Duran v Hatton? You should'nt compare Icons with Average Champions it's bad for the sport!!!

  • Duran would of put Pacquiao in a coffin.

  • definitley! You see when he fought Iran Barkley and jeez hands of stone and a chin to match Pacquiao couldnt beat Iran too small and not strong enough. Duran had power way way beyond his size.that's how he could fight all over the place not just in a few classes.

  • Roberto Duran is the 3rd Greatest Fighter of All Time behind Ray Robinson & Ali for me, Ray Leonard 4th.

  • @Super6fan Is leonard above henry armstrong?

  • The British people gave Duran a great tribute to one of the all time great boxers of all time.Very good video.

  • Four titles at different weights.

Only fighter in history to fight in 5 different decades.

greatest pound for pound puncher of all time.

  • World Boxing fans and boxings experts were quick to compared Roberto Duran with Ricky Hatton. Unfortunately the latest Ricky defeats take him very far away from Roberto...

  • Duran was arguably the greatest lightweight.... and if not he is nailed on top five ever. Hatton, whilst talented wouldn't even get in the top 25 welterweights.

This mexican/panamanian is an icon. Hatton will be a footnote.

  • mexi what??? duran is panamanian...just panamanian. No mexican ever beaten duran.

  • yeaahhh..........

  • @TALIBANBOYO maybe the top 25 welterweights in collyhurst.

  • 1:11 - 1:12, durans right hand.. evidence of pugilistic dimentia

  • When both boxers hugged at the beginning it made me cry a little..

  • sorry but if you met your icon you'd just ignore him would you? would you bollocks.

I'd be exactly the same if i met ricky

I bet at this point in time Duran hadnt heard of Ricky but i bet he knows his name now!

  • @TALIBANBOYOreturns i agree hatton does play up the 'peoples champion' all the time but is quick to make money where he can and would turn his back on his fans anytime anyplace if there was money to be made

  • Don't talk bollocks Hatton wouldn't turn his back on his fans after every fight in every interview hes ever done he always thanks the fans first

  • he thanks them for topping up his bulging bank balance and dragging fans all the way to las vegas to see him put on his backside each time he has fought a genuine world class opponent..the whole 'peoples champion' and 'down to earth' northerner act he puts on is simply an act to con his fans to attend his fights and make him money...he is not fit to lick duran's boots...hence the dismissive and derision with which duran treated him when they met..he was just any old tom , dick or harry to him!

  • No man hes a top bloke your talking shit and when they met Hatton was a young pro I bet Duran knew who he was 5 years later when 35'000 Brits were in Vegas chanting One Ricky Hatton

  • @lgisgod was that when hatton got knocked out within 2 rounds? after dragging thousands of fans to vegas at great time and expense to see another failure..he is a GOOD fighter..nothing more, nothing less..he will never be recognised as a great

  • I never said he was a great, hes my favourite boxer of all time but ask me my top 10 fighters and he's not in them, I said he won't turn his back on his fans for a couple of quid and he wouldn't

  • bullshit, everyone loves hatton because he loves the people and he doesn't shy away from the big fights. he's fought both the current pound for pound contenders, he lost but he gave it a go.

  • @scottishlad1987 you mean he dosent shy away from the money...and being put on his ass within 2 rounds against a world class opponent like manny...

  • if you're as good as him in whatever you do, you'll be fine in life. woes he need to be the best in the world to be respected?

  • @scottishlad1987 well said

  • @scottishlad1987 please tell junior whitter that hatton doesn't shy away from fights. Hatton loves only himself. Have you seen his tattoos a true sign of a strutting self-important(yet secretly inadequate) asshole? did you notice the, lately, ubiquitous Hatton crest which adorned his reyes gloves the night he was knocked to fuck by pacquiao?

  • @scottishlad1987 Yes,but you can't quite disagree with me.

  • @scottishlad1987

    You know nothing !

  • @scottishlad1987 No they love him because he's white and 'one of the lads' so to speak. David haye or Amir Khan will never get the same following because they are more professional and more dedicated to the sport.

When Ricky got caught doing coke, the media and his fans forgave him. When frank bruno got caught, they labled him a mad man. Hatton could have been great but he chose to drink.

  • @mcprankster i couldn't give a shit about race. hatton's a nice guy, haye is a twat who has never fought anyone good but is on the tv yapping every chance he gets. khan is great and i love him just as much as hatton.

  • @maxlogica i couldn't agree more except I wouldn't dignify those red-faced shiny headed fools by calling them boxing fans. A football ground is all they are good for.

  • if thats true then that means a gay man could kick your ass

  • As a kid,Duran used to go to bars just to knock out drunk sailors.Duran is a legend.

  • Doesn't mention that in his autobiography... still I suppose you know better.

  • It is true Lol you look a tit

  • @saberino1 I heard thats how he first got the "Hands of Stone" Nick name. What I actually heard was as a young 13 - 14 yr old he'd take $5.00 KO contracts on Men from Men who didn't want to fight but wanted someone hurt. Urban legend or truth?

  • @saberino1 this is a total lie

  • @saberino1 did he knock out sailors because his dad was one? and his dad left his mother at a young age?

    if so

Roberto Duran is even more of a DON

  • You are the Fagot! Italians kiss too and they are the MAFIA! So shut the fuck up!

  • Roberto duran is the best.

  • Durans the best of all time

  • ignorant

  • It's a culture, don't say that about people's culture

  • Michael Gomez @ 1:48 looks funny as fuck hahah

  • anybody talks shit about duran is lucky i cant find their punkass.

  • @XXID88 Agree...Duran has lions heart.

  • lol tru talk

  • I cant belive there are some insulting comments about Duran here. Up to the second Leonard fight he was 71-1 with 55 kos, and the one defeat was avenged twice by ko! Its true he lost a few, but when he lost he was older, and fighting past his best weight and against a lot of fighters he wouldnt train, he was just in it for the pay cheque. But when he was in his prime and up for a fight he would have given anyone from any era trouble

  • @chunkyscotty well said also he beat a prime Leonard, how many men can say that??

  • @chunkyscotty Boxers are only human, everybody will lose if they fight everybody around. The guys who never lost are the one who never faced the very best.

  • when he lost it was because he didnt train or give a fuck. he was a mental fighter.if he wasnt mentaly prepared then he would lose.if he wanted to win ,believe me he would win.he was the greatest ever

  • If you watch the Buchanan fight closely and listen for the bell you will see Ken landed two big straight punches after the bell and thats why Duran fouled him the next second on LoBianco's blind side. I always thought Duran was the total one to blame but not since I saw the tape.

  • 1:10 - 1:12 durans right hand..

uh oh..you know what that means..

  • arthritis?

  • pugilistic dementia

  • wats that?

  • where they get hit too much. kinda like parkinsons

  • @hinduw i was there and Duran looked and sounded great you dipshit.

  • @hinduw watch the vid carefully, micheal gomez is way further along the road to palookaville than Duran will ever be.

  • HATTON looks like EMINEM hahaahha

  • Street brawler from panama that made it into the hall of fame just take one look at that bearded man against the rope starring you down after you gave him your best shot and it hurt your hand more than his face....ask Hagler he lived it...

  • i hope ricflarefucknsucks drops dead from throat brain and asshole cancer little 18 year old punk ass you wouldn't no a great fighter if he walked up to you and punched you in your bad british no dental hygiene mouth DIE boy

  • over rated? haha. duran over rated? are you nuts? actually don't answer that one you racist piece of shit.i would like you to say that to durans face, he would knock you clean out.he is one of the best p4p of all time.show some respect.keyboard warrior.

  • Amen,

Duran was the greatest small fighter I ever saw .... I just wished he had retired after beating Leonard in Montreal and ended his career at 73-1

Leonard II was a farce - sure Duran got frustrated and quit - but it was because Leonard would NOT fight - and was clowning around ... admittedly sugar ray's tactics worked but it does NOT diminish Duran's fighting ability just his mental stability. Duran went a long way to restoring his image - albeit well past his prime with wins over Moore

  • Wait wait wait...who woundn't fight ??? Who walked out of the ring ??

  • And you have won how many titles personally ? Duran, I hated him in the 80's, but your comments are lame.

  • puta madre el ke no se emocina es porq es m digo nada jajaja 507 pty

  • I am a huge fan of Ricky Hatton, but I really wish he'd reconsider fighting Marquez like he says that he wants to.

  • he wont stand a chance

  • I would love to see that fight too!

    Greetings from Mexico!

  • @PapaMagnum then why on earth would you want him to fight marquez? Hatton's made for him and would get brutally kayoed and not from one clean puch like pacman did.

  • i from panama let me tell you something , thank you x love roberto duran , england thank you so much great people from england thank so much bless from panama

  • hard to tell where duran ends and hatton starts in this clip ...cos hatton is sooo far up his arse :)

  • i remember reading an interview where buchanan said because of that lowblow he was pissing blood for 2 weeks after the fight and to this day he sometimes feel a severe pain in his testicles

  • roberto duran says in his book

that ken buchanan said to him ill rember you to the day i die, because everytime I take a piss I can feel the pain, still to this day.

  • Duran was a beast for his size... He wasn't afraid to face anyone... He would have faced heavyweights if they would have let him... Fearless!

  • duran is a pound 4 pound all time king , best light weight who even gave hagler a war at middle weight .......if only hatton could move his head and have half the defensive smarts of duran he would be top draw :-)

  • true.

  • @paladin77777 and if only my auntie had a dick she'd be my uncle

  • Oooh look Peter Kay is on the show ooo wait thats Ricky Fatton...

  • Duran the best of the wordl

  • Duran the best hands of stone.

  • Funny...Hatton Vs Pacquiao reminded me of Duran Vs Hearns

  • The difference PygmyPhallus is that Hatton (a great fighter) is not better than Pacquiao while Duran was better than Hearns

  • True

  • was he?

duran was a top class fighter but his personal life messed up his career watch the documentary he thought he could push over hearns

hearn is a p4p champion look at that power

  • Roberto Duran. One of the greatest boxers of his stacked generation... and one of the greatest of all-time (espesh. at the lower-half of the weights).

It was a fighter like he, who helped pave the way for the concept of 'pound-for-pound'.

  • homegrownhero Duran was a great fighter but Sugar Ray Robinson is directly responsible for the concept pound-for-pound. Ranked by most as the greatest boxer of all time!

  • SRR was the greatest, no doubt!!

There are several fighters... with tremendous skill, huge hearts & iron-wills who defied weight-classes & helped pave the way for the p4p concept becoming as important as it is today! SRR (former mw who attempted to become HW champ-- but sadly fell-short) is one of the main guys. Duran as well.. (esp. in the late 70s/early 80s the boxing press really started to think)

and more recently, RJJ. He brought the concept of p4p back to the fore & from there it STUCK!

  • Think you will find that SRR prime was at welterweight, he moved up to middleweight and won titles but that wasn't his prime, and at no point did he fight at heavyweight, he fought for the light heavyweight title but came short due to heat exhaustion.

  • @homegrownhero p4p in his lightweight prime Duran would have been competitive with robinson, without doubt a very close fight

  • Duran was the most overachieving successful little fighter there's in the history thus far! a 4 different weight class champion, and think about this: after his reign at lightweight he leaped 12lbs. to challenge the best of his era at welterweight; Ray Leonard. The point is he could of been a 5 division champ easily had he stopped at the jr/super division of 140?

  • julio cesar chavez kid, u should read about him,
