I do wish the tackles were more aggresive and lively. They dive and miss in a very stupid way and then when they get tackled they look like a crash dummy. Ive played the demo its very addicting. But the evasive moves kinda get old and you never get a chance on kickoff you always get tackled within 20 yards. ETC. there are other problems/pet peeves in backbreaker. I do say, with the NFL license, the game would be epic. I like the game, id give it a rent, its very original and can be intense.

these guys arent trying to look like an nfl game. they are making a big hit football game. thats why its called (backbreaker). they arent even trying to compete with madden. they want to experiment with the engine and make a game like burnout when everything that goes right or wrong is a wow.

Backbreaker will be all flash no substance. The actual politics of pro footbal won't be there. I saw the QB drop step, passes, WR catching, etc, not as fluid as in real football. This is going to be very arcadey. That's why they pushed it back June.

Backbreaker is a game you will have to try in order to know how it plays . The players are programmed with certain behaviours, they react differently on every play. Also it's not just tackles on the fly, it's any contact. This game has a lot of potential. Madden is old,stale and ran it's course. I know i will beat the cpu on all madden day 1 with the same play all game just like every other year.

@kjmichaud1 The sad part is you are right. My brother and I are convinced that Next Gen gaming experience shouldn't only consist of canned animation and pre scripted plays. It only takes but so long to figure the type of outcomes of plays depending on plays after u see it a few hundreds of times or more depending on much that person plays the game and some people play ALOT.

@kjmichaud1 I think that is the core problem with Madden it's out dated technology on new gaming systems. They really need to take some time off and get a team together start from scratch and come up with a new system or something, which Back Breaker is doing/did right now with Europhia.

I feel like this game has already failed in many people minds because of no NFL license and potential lack of addition features that football fans have come to know. It's a damn shame that a game like Madden seems to get away with all the flaws the game play has.......makes you think if their audience actually knows how football is played or not.

I've really come to the conclusion that Madden developers has created all the problems they have for themselves and make it damn near impossible to please a majority of the football fans/Madden fans that just want a GOOD FOOTBALL VIDEO GAME to play in their leisure time. That replicates what happens on Sunday and takes some knowledge and brainpower to show your actual skill in the video game without using cheats/glitches/exploiting poor A.I. Versuz's made good points about backbreaker.

Yea ive been saying what ur saying for awhile. The gameplay didnt seem that good to me. Alot of missed tackles. Also the jukes and animations just look boring and robotic. Especially the QB drop step. I guess sometimes its good to have mo-cap animations. Makes it look more like Real Life
