Word of advice. If you are making this bong then use a bigger head. Instead of drilling a hole through the cap and stick a small head there, remove the cap, then use a much larger head that will barely fit through the neckhole and use ducktabe to make it fit airtight. You can also do this in a bucket with a bigger bottle. But make sure you use a bigger head. This guy is wrong. If the pipe works you will be in way too much of a shock to just drag it up again and smoke another one right after.

The hole in the head/socket will be pretty big so you need a filter, so the weed doesnt fall through. For example, you can get it from a standard kitchen sink, use a knife to pick out the filter (small metal net) where the water comes out, and put it in the head. Excuse my english. Or you can just make a small ball out of aluminum and fit it in the hole nicely. But not tight at all, the air must pass through fluently. Just big enough so no weed falls through.
