I'm fortunate that I could easily trace my Saami ancestry, since my surname is well established as founded by an Enontekiön Eira.

But I don't know how to joik just yet, and have never been there. Learning northern Sami... mon sidan luossalaippa! lol... but it'll be hard to find anyone who knows about the actual people behind the names I've traced, without learning Finnish or Swedish too

There are no lyrics. Joik isn't a lyrical form of singing/chanting, it's much more similar to Native American chanting, or even yodelling (in a way, hehe :p)
