So sad that they never had another baby. The writers were such idiots not to incorporate that into the movies. I miss this show so much but I have to say that Debby K's Dr Quinn fanfiction is a really good substitute, it features so many great stories (where Sully and Michaela do have more babies) If you love Dr. Quinn you will love those stories!

OK just curious... what did they do to practice "birth control" in this era cause.. it is sweet that dr. mike asked sully if they could try again but.. if they didn't have Birth control in that era how could they have any control wheather or not micheala gets pregnant???

@jc960551 I used to think it was down right impossible that they didn't have another baby or two considering all the times those two were intimate! HA! I suppose they relied heavily on the rhythm method...tracking her cycle. Since she was in her later childbearing years, I don't think they cared much if they got pregnant or not... just my opinion. I always thought he could have supported her a bit more too. I was furious when he committed treason and had to leave her for 6 or so months..

and as often, I wonder how this could ever have been a family show, because those scenes make me blush now, as they used to when they first aired...

This the only FULL love scene in Season 6. There was another partial love scene near the beginning of Season 6, where Sully (who was hiding from the army) snuck back to the homestead to spend 1 night with Michaela. This love scene in "To Have and to Hold" is also the last Michaela & Sully love scene of the entire Dr. Quinn series. As always, this love scene is very tastefully done ... sexy, romantic, and touching. A fitting end to Sully & Mike's reminiscing about their relationship.
