This music is just....amazing. I haven't heard anything like this in....I've never heard anything like this....I wonder, who was the one person who disliked this? Hm, no matter, their loss.
The theme from 3:24 is called "Backwards" written by Ratledge, first appearing on record here, and later included in the Caravan song L'Auberge du Sanglier. I don't know if it was a Wilde Flowers piece but I doubt it because it's jazzy and reflects Ratledge's output from late 69 onward.

@fathunter L' Auberge du Sanglier/ A Hunting We Shall Go is the Caravan song your thinking of, they used that melody in the mid section though not the end
6:10 Hopper (RIP) plays smoe outstanding bass lines!!!!! and the solo from mr Dean is amazing! not to mention the closing of the track.... it is really a MASTERPIECE!!!!!

is that possible that the theme from 3:24 is from The Wilde Flowers because it's also used in Caravan's song ``A Hunt We Shall Go``

Pompeii is far, far greater than dark side. I personally prefer Ummagumma.

This "rock band" is better than most of the great jazz icons. The arrangements are beyond incredible.
