The NHL needs to bring back the role of the enforcer. I haven't watched a hockey game in almost 4 years because of how pussified the game has become. The game needs guys like Probert, Domi, Kocur, Mallette etc. The absence of an enforcer has changed the way the game is played in a bad way IMO.

@roxtar10870 there are still guys who are stictly enforcers. 3 of them just died this past off season( rick rypien, derek boogaard, wade belak) the game has change and become faster because the 2 line pass rule was removed which I think is better, but in turn guys who are strictly enforcers need to get better at skating or they won't see any ice time.

@TommyCage0736 You would know better than I would. As I said, I haven't watched in over 4 years. I prefer to watch two team grind around in the corners and behind the nets, but maybe I'll give the game another chance. Cheers!

@roxtar10870 yea for sure, give it a chance, it isn't the same as before, but it still is exciting as hell, especially when rival teams battle like the hawks vs blues, or the leafs vs sabres, or the bruins vs canadians......good battles for sure

Probie destroyed Crowder here, by TKO'ing him but Crowder won Probert twice so he won their serie.

Probert was actually one of not only the best, if not THE best, fighters in the NHL, he was one of the classiest. He would beat Azz, and then calmly head for the box. He rarely went haywire like a lot of guys do, understandably, after a session of that magnitude and adrenaline flow. He had his off ice problems, but he was always friendly off the ice, especially considering he was kind of shy.....RIP B.P.

BTW...Don't forget, he could also play the game.....

This is Round 2.  Round 1 went to Crowder, that's why Probert is so pissed in this one. Good showing by Crowder who looks like he's 12 in this video, love the smile at the end of the fight. Master v. Student in these wars.
