In my opinion Meggie was annoying and usless! She always needed someone to save her and she wouldn't have saved her father if Fenoglio hadn't written those words AND she got all mad at her own mother and Farid and blamed them for Mo's death!! I mean give them a break!!! Her mom was wanting to go back home and faird wanted his best friend back!! If there was any one to blame it was Orpheus!! Sorry about the spoiler but I hate Meggie!
