I finished grad school in fall 2005. I was at a Beerfest in Orlando, and there were like 5,000+ watching this play in front of a huge big screen @ Pleasure Island. We ALL went nuts. It was almost like being at a game.

I personally enjoy the fact that Auburn doesn't have claim to a single National Title. Oh wait, a split one in 1954. You beat us in games that end up meaningless. This year when we lost 4 anyways, last year when we won the National Championship anyways. Good game, take the win, I'll take the more promising team and a National Title.

I finished grad school in fall 2005. I was at a Beerfest in Orlando, and there were like 5,000+ watching this play in front of a huge big screen @ Pleasure Island. We ALL went nuts. It was almost like being at a game.

I know a lot about sports. I follow the NFL, MLB and NCAA all the time. South Carolina is losing a lot this year, so I don't think they'll be as good next year. The Gators won't be as good either. That's just the way it usually is. SC is a good team, but they won't have it next year. Give it another year or 2, and they'll be back of course.

No you dont know a damn thing about sports. SC always sucks and haven't did a dang thing in the SEC for a long time. OH and Gators didn't plan on winning this year, it just happened. Had you watch National C'ship coverage they've been planning for the future not 2006-07. They went and got Tebow who was like the #2 HS prospect and has a great arm (for those who thinks he's just a TD runner). So get it str8. Gators will own in 08.

ok yes SEC is by far the toughest conference in the country and florida deserves to be ahead of every one-loss team in the country b/c we play the toughest schedule in the country. our one-loss came to #2 auburn in auburn while usc's loss was to unranked oregon state....you cant argue with that

Gator Hater from Johnson City, TN here. Birthplace and Hometown of Steve Spurrier just so you realize the depth of hate. But even I would pull for Florida or any other SEC compatriot against the ESPN loved Big Ten,Pac Ten,Irish, or whatever bandwagon con. of the week. Facts are facts people. SEC is the toughest period. I stand corrected.Yea he moved here when he was twelve but considers Johnson City his hometown as he's said repeatedly. The rest of the Spurriers were already here and still are. Steve could have been revered in TN. but was so hurt when the Vols job went to Fulmer and not him when was still at Duke he vowed vengeance and damn if he didn't keep his word.

I would love to have a schedule that included- Stanford (1-9) Washington (4-7) Ucla (5-5) Arizona (5-5) Arizona State (6-4) Oregon State (6-4)! We don't need to travel outside our region because the SEC is the toughest conference, year in, year out. ACC? Please. Big East? U of L or Rutgers would have 3 losses each this year. PAC 10 is so overrated it's ridiculous. But I better go and watch the pregame for the Notre Dame-Coast Guard game they're probably practicing for right now.
