  • i caught my horse doing something similar and i believe yes my horse is over due for a dentist visit....

  • I don't think he is burping it sound like he is windsucking like @goodgoinchex said

  • Shows how brained washed everyone is!! They automatically think the horse must be wind sucking! Dont believe everything you read! Horses do burp, I have mare who as a yearling frequently got juvenile colic, however to my vets utter amazement she always went down only to give an almighty burp 5 minutes later and did actually vomit once and I tell you it smelled absolutely gross! He contacted several veterinary universities in the UK to report the case! So get off your soap boxes people!!!

  • Burping in horse is rare but I disagree with a comment that says it can cause the stomach to rupture. In fact it will alleviate distention in the gut. For instance if the horse is suffering from colic caused by a bowel blockage in normal horse it cannot escape through the bowel in a horse that can burp the pressure is alleviate through the burp.

  • @Trickhorse2010

wow! thats why i try not to be close-minded when it comes to research because lots of magazines team up with the universities and colleges and find new things we all learned to say weren't possible....i have heard the same thing in my horse from time to time....with new research we learn new things about our horses everyday. very interesting thanks for sharing!

  • wind sucking (thats not good)

  • hahah XD

  • Its not cribbing and its definetly not burping someones in the background making that noise... One word sums up whoever made this video. Dumb ass

  • @es122112211221 no that's two words.

  • i got a horse that dus that dus any1 know whey they do it the vet sed she was trying to get food off her teeth lol

  • That is a really bad thing to encourage this horse to do. Not smart guys. Anyone who has a clue or cares about the animal would not encourage unhealthy behaviours. Poor Horse.

  • Contrary to common belief horses are capabable of vomiting, it's just very difficult for them, and when they do their stomachs usually rupture resulting in death. Vomiting is a VERY rare occurance in the horse but has been reported. Rabbits and rats can't throw up, PERIOD.

  • megnaay lol wow that is NOT fucking cribbin.lol

  • hahahhaa

  • either choking or wind sucking.

  • That horse is definately wind sucking. That's a bad habit for horses, & bad for them anyway.

  • it's not a burp, its wind sucking, which really isnt good.

  • lol

  • That sucks your horse is wind sucking and it's to bad you are contributing to this behavior because it is considered a very bad vice. Look it up it's really bad that your horse is doing that.

  • i agree. that's called cribbing. notice when you suck hair into your mouth it sounds the same as a burp? same thing going on here.

  • it could b sort of a sound they make like a growl but not a growl at the same time????

    like. just tht noise?

do u get wht im sayin?

  • that is hilarious! Not sure why someone would say it's not a real burp... It is clearly gas being expelled due to the way he's eating/chewing and it's hilarious!!!!!!! We love horses!! I wish I had captured the video of my horse taking a bite of a lemon that he decided he wanted.... wow, that was something!

  • Those aren't real burps, theyre the same noise youd make when your faking a burp

  • horses cant burp smart-1 even if its joke still.

  • haha thats so cool! but it might be something the owners need to worry about. i would get a vet in just to check. otherwise HILARIOUS!!

  • lol that's really funny

  • Sounds more like he needs to have his teeth floated... he can't chew up his grain properly, so he has to cough it back up a little to finish chewing.

  • HAHAHA so fucking funny

  • my horse does this is their anything wrong he usely does this whenever he gets done eating his oats or eating on the salt block btw he has plenty of water to

  • not a burp, throat cough...

  • FUNNY!

  • "OH MY GOD!" LOLOLOL

  • lol thats funny!!!

  • lol, funny

  • LOL!!

  • My horse can do this to, take care though, horses are not meant to burp and if they do it is a sign of gastric problems, 80% of horses that do this will end up cribbing to relieve their discomfort which is actually a forced urp and not gulping of air as many think.

  • ha ha so funny!

  • Actually horses CAN burp, one fot he many vices and tics is to lean on a fence or something burp. However it's bad for the horse's digestive system which is why it's a bad habit that must be put to an end.

  • Poor horse.

  • LOL THATS SO FUNNY

  • haha that was funny lol did he eat balloons or something

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA !!!! This is so funny xD !
