John says he was "just shouting the damn thing" when he sang "Twist 'N' Shout", but I say he kicked the living shit out of it. It has a raw energy that is unbelieveably cool. You can hear the dance hall passion in his voice, like he's playing to a packed house of Liverpool teenagers. It gives me the shivers when I hear it EVERY time.
