It is intersting - this guys obviously havent really listened to Ethiopian music- but they still want to play it ! Good for them. It comes out very different - especially the rhythmic feel. The Ethiopian scale is what makes it sound somewhat Ethiopian.

I love it. It is definitely Ethiopian Jazz. The composer's name is Mulatu Astatke who is the father of Ethiopian Jazz.
