  • dead straight

  • is this have weight keys? like ts-12? so thanks

  • One can always hear when it's keyboard demo playing , almost like they're ALL made by the same super-cheezy playing dude..

  • Hi. Could you please tell me where i can buy ENSONIQ TS-10? Thank you.

  • great guitar sound & played like a guitar solo (always helps !) - thks for posting

  • i came

  • Good old Ensoniq. Too bad they were bought up by EMU and then dumped.

Solo is a bit busy though...

  • Live porno music

  • i cant believe how much i love my eps..

  • I have owned a VFX-SD1 (21-voice version) for 18 years now. The guitar sound he uses is also in that one and is one of the most expressive sounds in ANY synth for especially solo use. That sound uses all 4 different combinations of the patch-selct buttons to give octaved, feedback'ed, muted and of course normal sound. Together with the pitchwheel and modwheel it's perfect!

Oh, did I mention that I LOVE this synth ;)

  • I've got an Ensoniq Mirage... SOme years back I onwed an SQ 2 plus...They were great keyboards..

  • This is me playing this demo! That's funny!... Anyway, thnks to whoever posted this. This was actually a demo in which I demonstrated how to build a full song from scratch in 5 mins with the sequencer of TS-10. The gtr solo is just the final "fun" thing in which I was showcasing some real time controllers called "patch select" that allowed me, together with the poly-after-touch, to play different layers such as the harmonics, glissando, etc. Things were different back then! I wasn't bald!

  • dude put his heart & soul into that!!!

    rack-mount gear & ensoniq's coming back hard.

peace to the late 80's & early 90's...

  • that shit iz hot man real talk

  • I have owned quite a few Ensoniq synths in my life from ESQ-1 to TS-10 and your video is showing off the lame examples of what NOT to demo. Why not make some really unique patches? Why on gods green earch would a synth player other than Jan Hammer play cheap distorted guitar on a digital synth? Be original for godsake!

  • If you can make a patch as freaking complicated as this then I'm sure you can make alot of "unique" sounds. the layering in this is much more creative than most original sounding patches. and hell its called a synthesizer for a reason no?

  • This 'Cheap' guitar sounds pretty cool, if You are in the same room, and are not listening thru some 'shitty' cam-microphone :D

  • I got TS12. It's a great quality build keyboard eccept for those weighted keys which all develeped a clunking noise. I must play really loud so I don't hear it!

  • it's funny, because in the past summer I did a presentation on music and technology.I picked pipe organ and how it was developed into all these advanced keyboards like Roland followed by all possible music softwares and so on...

  • I think he's doing a project now... I read something about it, I think the name is PANMORPHISMO... and he has this profile on a website called LinkedIn... sadly I can't post my comment with the link or it'll be deleted.

  • Excellent rendering! I like how this guy uses the controllers to trigger different layers of the sound (harmonics, feedbacks, etc.)... Very challenging performance in this regard! Check out the other clip:"More distorted guitar with Ensoniq"... even better sound, almost perfect!

  • My dad gave Rick Wakeman an Ensoniq keyboard.....

  • I remember Rick playing a long solo with Yes, mainly using a VFX... Is that the one that your dad gave him?

  • Ummm it could be i'll ask him
