Yep. I used positive training methods on my dog and she does what I ask her to do. But I trained her for two weeks straight, fifteen minutes a day and every day I remind her by giving her treats when she does a trick. I never forced her into doing anything so she's more obedient when we work as a team.

With dachshunds some care and concern maybe in order, yes, but, as long as the owners TAKE CARE AND know what they are doing, the dog SHOULD be fine. A caring owner knows his/her dog best I would like to think. We have 3 dogs, 2 Jack Russell Terriers and a Shih Tzu.
