I remembered this commercial being on TV when I was a kid, looked it up on YouTube and here it is. Amazing. I even remembered Nelson saying "It's not such a... bad... name for a candy bar...."
There are some material, including commercials that Stan has not reissued as yet; this is one of them, from the early '70s, 'Owens'. The two men are, of course, Frank Nelson, the man famous for "hating" Jack Benny on his radio and TV shows {"Yes-s-s-s-s-s???"} and frequently appearing on "I LOVE LUCY"- and Bill Idelson, whose career went far back as radio ["Rush" on "VIC & SADE"] and into the TV era ["Herman Glimcher" on "THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW"].
They don't sell these where I live in NY, so I buy them online and have them shipped to me. I'm not a huge candy eater, but these are awesome! Thanks for the vid.
Before I tasted this candy bar I thought I hated coconut. I stil don't love it but I really like Zagnuts on the rare occasion I can find one.

Actually, TheOwenstube, it's there at the very end of the TV reel as a bonus. Stan even included a note on the screen. ("Please don't tell Rhino!")

It's Stan, 'JakeandElwood'.

The announcer at the end sounds like Tom Brokaw.

I didn't know Freberg did Zagnut! He didn't include it in the TV reel on the box set.
