Here are the unemployment numbers for the Reagan years '81-7.6: 1982-9.7%: 1983-9.2%: 1984-7.5%:1985-6.% and going to 5% throughout the rest of his 2nd term. I'd probably vote for him since the umemployment rate was falling by the time he ran for re-election. Having Walter Mondale as his competition only helped Reagan. He won by a landslide. The 2012 election will be all about JOBS.

People in this country are out of work, upside down in their homes, paying $3.70 a gallon for gas, stock portfolios are disasterous. Here are the unemployment numbers for the Reagan years '81-7.6: 1982-9.7%: 1983-9.2%: 1984-7.5%:1985-6.% and going to 5% throughout the rest of his 2nd term. I'd probably vote for him since the umemployment rate was falling by the time he ran for re-election. Having Walter Mondale as his competition only helped Reagan. He won by a landslide. The 2012 election will be all about JOBS.

Statistics show that no president since FDR has won re-election with unemployment over 7.5%. Again Obama did inherit a lot, but he also knew what he was getting into when he ran for President and was elected to ''fix'' the economy and create jobs. He even admitted his stimulus ''wasn't shovel ready as we would have liked it to have been.'' For our sake, i hope it gets better.

They criticize President Obama on a daily basis and never give him a break. They lean WAY to the right and have no intention of moving from that. Most of america is conservative so why does bill clinton hate them so much and why are liberals so bigoted against 75% of americans.
The vernom and hate shown towards the 75% of americans who dont want a victory mosque built in a building that was hit by parts of plane and bits of bodies as they are still finding body parts and have not even searched the surrounding area yet for remains.

@beginization: I wouldn't say most, friend. In fact, I'd say it's probably more like 30% solidly liberal{Northeast, West Coast cities, parts of the Southwest}, 20% solidly conservative{much of the Southeast + Mid-South, the Virginias, and parts of the Midwest, I'd suspect.}, while the rest are either centrists, or hell, even apolitical altogether!
