  • OH WOW!! Are you even real??? How about we yank your thumbs off while you just sit there and scream and we will just make casual conversation. You are mean!! And you have the nerve to say that no one was hurt as the poor puppy is screaming for help!! CLASSLESS!!

  • I myself would not have that done to any animal.

  • I work in a vet clinic, and I've learned a lot about this procedure. the puppy us "screaming" because he or she isn't enjoying being held down not because of the claw. Getting dew claws removed saves a ton of time for nail trims and removes the possibility of them having it torn off, resulting in a high vet bill or even infection.

  • Clumber Spaniel

  • what kind of puppy is this?

  • No one was hurt....except for the SCREAMING PUPPY. Please people, don't buy dogs with "dew claws removed" and don't pay someone to torture your baby puppy. Dew claws are normal body parts in dogs, and DO NOT need removed!

  • @Chadolution The puppy will say like this if hold in a way it does not like, or even if it is hungry..

It doesn't necessarily mean it hurts

  • Just cause u can't understand what the puppy is saying, doesn't make it right to continue putting it threw pain.

  • is this a good thing for the dog???

  • OMG, poor puppy! I realize that it only takes a minute, but still, can't you freeze it or something? Poor baby! :(

  • @jessied81 i think shes only a day old i think it would be eaiser and less painfull for the nail to be pulled.
