  • I find intervews quite easy, you give out some great advice though.

  • Put the gum in your pocket? lol, ok.

  • That was quite useful

  • thank u soo much i'm only 14 but ur tips will help me for life!

  • Hey Graham, Your videos are some of the best advice I've ever gotten. They're like a goldmine :)

...Can you please tell me how to overcome prejudices or biases? I'm a very short girl, and interviewers don't take me seriously at first. How can I avoid that?

Thanks so much, and keep making your awesome videos :)

  • @therandomessence hi there, I'm thrilled you like the videos...BTW which City are you in? OK then...tell me more about what's been happening. I have never actually come across such a bias..we are all different shapes, hieghts, sizes etc...surely it's about if we can do the job or not! If this is confidential you can email me (see address on left)

  • Mediterranean Freinds lol, but honestly this video and indeed the series you have so kindly shared with the worldr really puts me at ease. Body language is a real givaway to someones true intentions, and if they are feeling positive or negative etc. I have got my 2nd interveiw today at 1pm, many thanks.

  • @TheFlowMeister I do hope it goes well, good luck to you. Let me know how it goes..Graham

  • @TheRecruitmentGuy It went well, but no suitable positions were on offer at Waitrose. It was not much of an interveiw rather just a quick chat through about my employment options within the company.

  • @TheFlowMeister Keep going...lots of stores are hiring on the run up to Christmas. Make a list, get your CV ready and pop into see them...talk to smaller independents too of course! Good luck...Graham

  • @briangunn21 hi Brian; yes it might seem a bit strange to start with but believe me it works. Employers want to know not only how you interview but also how you retain info...eg would you take notes in a meeting or during training, If you do this at interview, you'll do it whilst 'on the job' . The fact is that the best candidate rarely gets the job...but the bext prepared. Also, if they are telling you LOTS about the job you won't have to remember everything..as you've written it down.Graham

  • why take notes at an interview...that looks creepy

  • @briangunn21

It shows you pay attention, and that you take whats being said seriously. Plus its handy if you want to look back on anything.

It all in all shows your keen.

  • Wow... Not had much luck with interviews recently but after watching your video I'm going to have watch some more.

    Thanks for the upload sir

  • @jugbir You are most welcome...hope you enjoy them. Please let me know if you need any more tips?

  • Thank you so much for your tips! I followed your tips and landed a 2nd interview!! I hope I get this job!

  • @star

fish258852 You are welcome. Do let me know if there are any other work related themes you'd like me to cove. Good luck ....Graham

  • thanks

  • wow i am view 6666 i have an interview on tuesday

  • @neolord42 Hi there....good luck with the interview. Hope the videos helped. Remember to prepare well, take a pad with you and ask good quality questions. Remember the # 1 interview question ..." what kind of person fits in best here". Let me know how it goes...

  • @TheRecruitmentGuy i will...i need this job too so im praying but thanks

  • @TheRecruitmentGuy The interview is at a grocery store...should i really take notes?

  • @neolord42 WEll, I wouldn't go over the top...but I'd certainly take a note pad with me to write down specific points eg work hours, holiday, training opportunities PLUS any questions you might want to have answered. Good luck...and remember; for retail positions, smart dress, tidy hair, clean nails, good breath and a nice smile are what stands out...let me know how it goes. Graham

  • Very helpful i must say.. Thanks kindly

  • @kinahelpyou really glad you found it helpful. Any thoughts re future videos?

  • Glad you like the video...please let me know if there are any 'ideas' or jobs related themes you like me to cover in future videos.

    Good luck

  • thanks so much for ur vid!!!

  • Allen Pease's book is fantastic! I have a very important group interview coming up for a campus job that would provide me with free room and board (7,000 dollar savings)! As you may know, American higher education is very expensive.

Thank you much for your comprehensive video series.

  • @Mfisch016 thanks very much....how did your interview go?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRecruitmentGuy I got my job as a Resident Assistant! Free room and board for two years :). That's about a 40% savings on my college education! Thank you very much again for providing this series. It was one of the most informative and helpful series available on youtube :).

  • Awesome Video! :)

  • @0P0M0 thanks glad you like it. Are there any other themes you would like to see?
