The bible commands us to pay tithes. the reason why most of you are trying not to is because you fail to relize the significance of tithing. I like going 2 the park, playing sports, smelling freshly mowed grass, watching animals stroll by, seeing birds catch fish, hearing music play in the city, from a car, while a bunch of people just start dancing out of nowhere in the hot sun, seeing couples kiss & try their hand @ love, seeing a father toss a ball around with his son, seeing an old couple live like their 30. @MrSatanchild I have encountered that fear monger type of doctrine, I was bought up in it and it did mess with areas of my life and I thank God I didn't turn into like some crazy person lol. I did slip and fall hard though because of it and wanted to try stupid stuff just as a release from the weird control. But when it comes to materialism, I'm ok because not wanting money, wasn't something I was taught. I just never really wanted money or things like that. I like having fun.

@MrSatanchild What is this you say about being purposely targeted from birth into religion? . . I have always found that certain individuals hated when I did things very well. Funny thing is, those things just came naturally. If I love to do something, I have always seemed to pick it up very quickly. I think that goes for anyone though. It's just that, people are always so busy being jealous and worrying about what others have, that they don't realize that they themselves are capable of so much.

@MrSatanchild I did try actually. I taught myself a bit about graphic arts and created christian greeting cards from scratch, characters/writing etc . . and a tees line and more. I couldn't quite get it off the ground because I wasn't working. I learned from that and all the other negativity I encountered and will help people in that way one day. I'm also going into the health field so that I can help others.

Religion is antithetical to this because it brings people and tells them to look elsewhere for edification. What if I said that God didn't exist and you have no way to even show(not even prove) that he exists? What good is Jesus at that point? I actually believe that both science and Christianity can coexist. God is the creator of all things, hence science. However, I don't believe that science can prove that God is not real. how would you know that? Do you even know what Isaac Newton found out, besides the fact that he's a christian? Charles Darwin was a devout Christian and he ended up finding a scientific idea that led to many great discoveries in biology, and incidentally the disturbances of religiousness all world round. Scientific people and religion can coexist, but if you really interpret and contemplate scientific discoveries, you'll learn that God doesn't exist, and it's no big deal.

I was a Christian for 18 years of my life. Right around the end of the 18th, I decided to read the bible, cover to cover and see what exactly, it was that I believed in. Then I became atheist after finishing the last page. science may not be, but the scientific method most certainly is infallible. It is what has brought us to this level of great understanding in the world around us. I just think it's funny that of all the theories in the world, the one that causes a shift in beliefs is bashed
