  • nice...I used to know what I had but memory fails me...I like the Morris 8 for sure :)

    and I did also have a 504 Peugeot..super car...

  • @granskare The 504 was certainly the most comfortable, also reliable. But was rusting after only 2 years and the replacement of the flasher module required pulling the dash off ! Lots of big trailer /caravan towing trips. I still miss its long legged approach to driving and its mechanical and body strength.

  • The Valiant wagon would be a cool car to have nowas would the other

    Is that wagon the Mazda?

  • @canadiancatgreen Mazda 1500 cc The 1800cc version came a couple of years later. A very nicely styled car/wagon model 4 speed on the floor was a big step up from the Valiant's 3 speed on the floor

  • Peugeot- best cars you've owned.

  • Each to his own, It is well regarded.

awarded the European Car of the Year title for 2002

  • peugeot 307 is the Best.

  • beautiful tercel!

  • id like to get a mazda 1500 your lucky

  • heheheeh!.... u you got great cars! But you havent got the VOLVO Amazon! I've owned one of them sturdy car!

  • Could never afford a Volvo except when i purchased a new Mercedes 240 d which I thought was a better purchase. I was right. The Amazon was an excellent car, assembled in Canada and sold well.

  • Youre right! About the 240D, it is better in looks and value!

  • Both classics

  • That was great I have R16 and the bug!

  • i'd kill for that mazda 1500 station wagon!!!!

just about to get one myself, probably a 1500ss.

quite a nice collection of cars there....

    cheers marty

  • This was a great vehicle once one of the spark plug threads was redone. From Vancouver;

Towed a tent trailer through the Rockies to the Calgary stampede, 4 adults 2 children also a trip to Disney Land with the tent trailer 2 adults 2 children.

Nice lines and good performance from the 1500 cc OHC engine 4 spd manual and Michilin Radial Tires.

  • The Mazda 1500 wagon is very interesting.

I owned a 1500 sedan in the same pale grey paint-scheme,("Aurora White", I think) here in Australia.

  • I considered the 505 but purchased a Mercedes 240D instead, a good choice especially for resale time. Very few areas in Canada would have salt on the roads for 6 months of the year. Vancouver, where I live, only a few days each winter.

  • The Renault 16 is very rare in US...

  • It was the car of the year in Europe in 1967 and was assembled in Quebec Canada. I purchased mine used in about 1970. Unfortunately my example was problem prone, drive shafts replaced, brakes replaced, and the last straw was piston rings letting go resulting in an engine re sleeve. The car was a brilliant driver, front wheel drive, Michelin radials, great suspension and a hatch back design. Years later about 1980 Toyota came out with the Tercel.

  • I'm french this is why i reconise this car. This car was made from 1965 to 1980 and replace by the Renault 20 and 30 (1975-83). I didn't know that's some cars was assembled in Canada. Today it's difficult to see it even in France. The TX models was a very nice cars.

  • They were made in a time when there was little or none rust protection so few if any exist in Canada. My nieghbours father had a TX model in the Philippines. It was a very desirable model. I had the 1975 Peugeot 504 while living in Lahr West Germany ( not far from Strasbourg ) A very comfortable car

  • The rust protection wasn't good enough at this time and in Canada the road are salted 6 month a year so many french cars diseapeared quickly. The 504 was replaced by the 505 and had been sold in US too.

  • I have owned a TL, TS, and a TX.... they sure are great cars and the suspension are perfect! When me wife and me got quarrelled my room become the R16 and it is very roomy! I regret selling it. Am in The Philippines! Still got those R16TX headrest though!

  • Congretulation ! you know this car is very rare in France today !

  • I have owned two 1990 classic reds and a 1996 Montego blue Miata. My partner has a 2001 Silver

  • you can truely see which car was your favorite.. the mazda miata 5 pictures, all the other cars just 1 picture.. ;)

  • The R16 and Mercedes 240D both have 2
