You my be running windows faster on a mac book than on a PC but you cannot upgrade your Mac's hardware. So when the bigger and better and faster parts come out for PC's we will see who's running Vista. And any other programs faster.

Who cares if your running older hardware faster than older hardware? No stopo trying to game on a MAC, you will eventualy need to buy a whole new MAC to keep your hardware up-to-date while all PC's have to do to play new gen games is upgrade a graphics card.

I find PC gaming personally better. You don't need to upgrade graphics card and update hardware unless it's really needed. learned and found out that this DRM SecurRom is just a front for a more nefarious plan. It's not for software piracy. Besides, Spore was already hacked and cracked and with a pirated release before it officially came out for the public. According to the current CEO of EA John Riccitiello it will be the start of Rent-TO-Own gaming and buy as you go for more content and features. You get the bare bones game. the DRM is in place for tracking and activitation too. Don't buy this game!

I don't know, I'm not an extreme PC gamer, maybe a casual one (Typically I may buy a few games every few years) but I completely can't wait to play Spore!

I know it's out today in some places, when I get the chance I'm definitely picking it up. PS3's great though, I definitely prefer consoles.

As for PC vs Mac... I don't care really; they've all got their ups and downs, but great thing about Macs is that they come with a lot of quality Free software out of box, something windows lacks.

yeah dude, im an IT techie (I work with PC's)... I hate PC's.. I hate windows... I don't use vista. I installed it to see how it would run. Haven't touched boot camp since. In turn I do agree xp is better.

Side note, Mac has one OS.. OSX that is all... and it gets better everytime time they upgrade.

I game on a Vista. I recently bought a new hardware and build a new comp (for gaming, 3D modelling + rendering, burning etc) then figured to go with Vista. LegendarySporkk, tonnes of people are already using Vista, and obviously you wouldnt go with Vista if your computer is an acient. I did have problems with Vista and compatiblity a year ago but since SP1 its been awesome. I dont have any problems with it anymore and XP software works fine on it now.

There is a reason why creative games like Spore come out on the PC first.. The PC rocks and with the mouse it's easy to do whatever you want to do (easy to control). I just dont picture spore running as well on a console.. And it's an awesome game, what other game do you get to land on 100s of thousands of unique planets and see different creatures everywhere?

I on the other hand dont have the cash to buy a PC and a console. So I bought the one I needed and used it as a dual purpose machine. I understand that people like to just get in and play, but for me half of the fun is getting in to the system and messing around. Good video though... better production values than my response.

yeah I agree bro, I used to be that way before I started working with pc's, I work in an airport and my company uses mac and our client uses the oldest dell machines you've ever seen. So after working with pc's that seem to fail 24/7 day in day out my heart reached out to mac for personal use. Its like how chefs dont like to cook at home.
